Crap pen, but he did really well for Italy in the tournament, I'll be really sad if people lose sight of that because of his lame miss. Lots of heads went in that shoot out.

I don't think it will. He had a very good tournament up until the second half of the German game. All tournament he has played like a top quality centre forward, holding the ball well and playing it off simply. It was a step up from him and if he stays (I'll think he'll leave) then Claude needs to ring Conte and ask how he got him to keep it simple.
I do think having a mobile partner helped him.
