We knew the economy would suffer when we came out the EU. It was always going to happen.

Once more becomes clear and trade deals start happening around the world, then obviously the economy will start to go back up again.

I disagree. With them onside I think they would have budged on free movement as it could have been fudged. I think it'll be harder now as if they budge on it they basically send a message to every EU member that they can do the same.

Anyway, I hope May is successful in implementing Cameron's plan with one arm tied behind her back.

If we don't have a trade deal with them then we're in trouble. If we do have a trade deal with them and they fall apart then we're in trouble.

The only thing that's certain at the minute is that we're on the outside looking in. If a trade deal is so unimportant then why are all the businesses, economists and politicians so worried about it?

But it's not deluded to think that as a non member we will get free access to trade whilst keeping the borders closed. Ok!

Who has said we'll get free access to trade whilst keeping our borders closed?

I agree though. That is also deluded.

No, I'm not, although it is fine, but critical lines.

I am looking at the individuals and their motives. I question intelligent people playing with truths and beliefs. Nothing much changes, but it's not good.

One of the four conditions of the common market is freedom of movement. The question is do we want to be in the common market?

If not, then freedom of movement is not an issue. If we do, then it all depends whether the EU bods are willing to put aside the strict conditions to waive that for us. From what they said on Thursday their position atm sounds unanimous that they won't.

I was wondering if we were going to stay out of the Common Market but put our wang in - maybe just to annoy Merkel!
