Jeez it's fairly obvious Wales are better than this England team why even try and deny it? We may have sneaked past an off-form Wales 2-1 but they've looked immense in their other games compared to England's woeful performances. Some people are in denial. We're atrocious right now, Wales are in the semis. Deal with it.
It’s all subjective and cannot be proven apart from the fact Wales have performed better than England in this tournament.

I think, considering the pool of players available to each country, you’d have to be pretty stupid to believe Wales are better than England.
Wales have been better managed this time, have better form and have done well – but there’s nothing else to suggest they’ll continue to out perform England.

but not just this time.. england haven't reached a semi final since euro 1996 and have won the same amount of knockout matches as wales have in 19 years..
on paper ofcourse england have a way better team.. but england bottle it in tournaments and that is how a team should be judged..
so if wales win youd still class england as better?
We got to an FA cup final in 2014.
In 2014 we were better than Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Spurs, Southampton, West Ham, Everton... Etc...

because club football is nothing to do with international football plus there is only one international tournament every 2 years.. compared to numerous club tournaments every season plus the league...
if wales didn't miss ramsey and davies for the semi which is absolutely ridiculous that cards didnt reset at the qf stage.. id really fancy them.. i think portugal will get to the final again

The stat about knock out matches isn't actually true I don't think, unless just applied to the Euros.
england have won two knockout matches in tournament football since 1996.. v denmark in 2002 and v ecuador in 2006 = 2
wales have won v northern ireland and v belgium = 2

I meant if you include the World Cup, I thought they'd won more, saw someone correct it elsewhere but maybe they were wrong.
