I like John Oliver. He's like a middle-class home counties boy who wants to be Frankie Boyle.

If the Progress faction decided to rage quit and create their own party (with blackjack and hookers...in fact screw the blackjack) it would be the best thing for Labour, as it would sweep out a lot of the embittered Blairites who have been sniping at Corbyn from the outset for not tending the dead flame of New Labour, while also seeing them vanish from the political map.

Personally, I think Corbyn is unelectable. He's too extreme for the so called swing voters.

I do believe, however, that a Centre left party, free of union interference with some credible policies, could be very attractive to the electorate.

Kind of what the Lib Dems were meant to be before they disappeared up their own arse.

That's the thing that gets me the most: not only have a worrying amount of people come to the conclusion that they were voting in a referendum about whether they could be openly racist in public, but there's so many of the pro-leave rank-and-file that feel the need to just keep needling those who voted to remain - best exemplified by Farage acting like an utter **** in Brussels this morning.

He's never been elected to the UK parliament - even the rednecks of Thanet turned him down, Ffs! Yet he feels entitled to lecture the rest of Europe on our 'behalf'...

Exactly - the referendum was a chance for the closet BNP supporters to put ther heads above the parapet. It was a chance to be overtly racist. Perhaps xenophobic, but probably racist.

The one thing the Brexit campaign has 'achieved' is an upsurge in ultra right wing groups in mainland Europe. They will now start stirring it in their own countries and push for a exit vote!

Ok, fair enough if the majority of your overall electorate wants one. But these people are nothing more than ultra nationalistic xenophobes and racists who, like the ones we have here, want all the foreigners out.

Farage has never made any secret of his views. But I wonder how many other far less extreme leave voters saw this as the upshot of their vote.

Just an aside. I do love it when Farage waffles on about the views of 'The ordinary man', when what he really means is, me!...

Farage is an MEP so he does get to represent us. As unpalatable as that is to contemplate.

Yes, voted in by those who wanted him to get us out of Europe.

He's never been a member of mainstream UK Gvt, and I hope to god he never is!...

I've seen a worrying number of people saying he "should" be the next PM.

In other words, Leavers have added the British Parliament to the long list of subjects they clearly know **** all about.
