To true - I was another contacted today & another politely declining - reasons = owners & membership scheme

Spoke to an ex-colleague today who has also stopped going due price increase for children - will do away games ...

It's the potential 'lost generation' that will be the saddest outcome - it's been great to see so many children wearing city kits in parks etc, & at games - at this rate all the positive change since 'project KC' started could be undone for a very long time ...
I dont get that. He's stopped going cos of the prices but will go to aways with his kids. Which will be much more expensive!!
 
Had a missed call off them too. Gutted I was at work when they rang as I wanted to tell them why I wasn't renewing.

I know they're desperate, but £9.99 a month? Surely not?

That was the membership fee I think

Scrap that, the previous post did say 9.99 a month
 
I was talking to someone today who had also been called by the club but he too had already signed up and they struggled to find his details. Sounds as efficient as usual........
 
If its £9.99 and I am paying over forty quid then there will be fireworks...

No point boring the caller with why you aren't renewing... They won't give a ****. They will just want to move to the next call.

It might make you feel better, but it won't make a bit of difference to a call handler, and the grand scheme of things.
 
Just got notification that my Direct debit is in place and the first one will be taken early July...with all this cash coming in expect some major signings over the weekend.
Bit of a worry ..the sort code was correct but the actual bank name was way off

Just thought i would let everybody know, the people who are ringing you are not from Hull City, the work has been outsourced to ResQ call centre in the city centre, so there is no point telling the poor sod on the other end of the phone why your not renewing and blaming them as they have just been dragged from another campaign (npower, sky, etc) to make these calls.

obviously I don't have a suitable CV, but you would think that it might have been cheaper to simply continue calling us Hull City, carried on with season passes, paid the wages of the staff in the ticket office and even bought a few umbrellas to hand out to the queue outside the office for season tickets?
