They wreaked havoc and slaughter in Ireland for 800 years.

I have English friends and family, I don't have any real hatred for the English. History is just that.
I celebrated when Iceland won though, It's down to the arrogance from the media.

Englands problem seemed to be the same as always, trying to fit players into a team regardless of their actual positions.
Rooney in midfield, Studge wide right. Things are going wrong so all the strikers come on and all play out of position.
You then have a terrible system with wing backs both pushing high, how many times did Studge have to cover Walker? He's not supposed to be back there!

Get a manager who has a system Bielsa as an example he plays the same formation and in the same way, pick a team and stick with it, don't go looking to get the next big thing into the team or change the formation because a certain player has to be on the pitch.

I said before the tournament there's a group of very good young English players at the moment they should have been given a chance to get experience in this competition it would have set you up for the World Cup but as usual you're a mess and I don't see that changing.

yes... add in the fact that 2/3 players were half fit at best (kane looked toast, rooney wasn't fit, henderson was not fit, whilshire was a joke)

I agree on the fully backs.. we completely knackered rose and walker playing 433 when the Italians played 3 at the back and let the wide players at least not be run out on 60mins.

It was ridiculous watching for 4 games... there was ZERO learning from it.

We just started game one with lallana at RW and ended up in the 4th game with sturridge at RW... that was it..

by the end kane was still taking frees (badly)

I agree with you totally. Get a man, a clear system in mind and pick best player in each position and stick with it.

A lot of smaller nations and even in club football they have learned that they don't have the stars so thay have to get a good system in place that every player is on board with, there's no room for egos.

I'm hoping that Klopp gets this mentallity in place with us while teams above us continue to throw money at the problem. Our recent £30M signing may mean that I'm full of **** but I think Klopp understands that he needs a system and a team that works for each other and that will put us in a good place.

I agree, If you've less players to pick from you have to get it right or you don't get there.

England were seeded 1 in an easy group and could play a different team every qualifier and win.

As for klopp... I think he need to cull quite a few to have that tight set up. I don't think you can in a mega moeny league not make signings like that when perennials **** clubs like palace are making that level of buy... but you don't need 3 players for every position and guys out on golf course as a career.

Thepoint would be if every player pull his weight then thats the best situation. Seeing enrique play fifa for 3 years etc etc.. that rankles.

Cba reading all of the last few pages, sorry - but am I getting the impression that people are upset about the Welsh players celebrating England's loss?
How is that important? Forget it - perfectly understandable as far as I'm concerned.

    Couldn't give a **** personally.

I agree a lot of the time too cocky for own good, but the ****e the media come out with is to blame for half of it.

Even though I have English Irish and welsh in me, yes I'm a **** up before anyone says :emoticon-0172-mooni I have the same feeling watching any of the nations play win or lose.

Always been a club man and always will, passionate about the reds but don't share that passion at int level.

I celebrated just like the Wales players when Iceland won but it wasn't really anything to do with the English. If they had just beaten France, Italy, Belgium etc then I'd have been just as happy for them. I've always loved an underdog, and it's probably because I'm Welsh!
