    Appointing him tomorrow as far as I'm aware. Been done since the weekend but wanted to bury the Sadio news first.

    Preseason testing starts en masse tomorrow, so makes sense.

    Couple of guys at work said that Puel and Wenger are close. Wenger put him in charge of the development sides at Monaco, apparently.

    He's an embarrassment really....he has no idea who we've looked at or indeed who we have chosen. We have taken so long we must have considered every manager with a pulse. Bitter and twisted or not, he makes a valid point...we know that fans secretly want an exotic manager, which is tough on British managers. However, I don't think that is true of the Saints board (aka Les Reed), they would look at anyone that fitted our template.
