What did they ever win with him in charge? Let me think..... Nothing he was once again a loser! He was also a loser at Man City! Seriously this tactically inept muppet is a dinosaur from another era long gone.
Definitely Eddie Howe, young, hungry with bright ideas and tactically astute.Give him time to build a team around the younger players and get rid of Rooney for good ! Apart from him, wouldn't mind seeing Warnock given the job. There's no-one better at getting **** players to play above themselves, and the passion and interviews would be incomparable !
Feck me that's depressing...... Saw somewhere that someone mentioned Billic from West Ham even on a part time basis.....he certainly knows the game from both club and international level.....
Kneecaps throwing his thoughts around, and he wants Hoddle too..... http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36648824
What I said was " He did very well with the U21s - certainly better than the senior side have done ". Discuss that. If you go by your criteria and not appoint a manager who has never won anything, then you'll NEVER get an English manager.
Did you see the pool of players he had to choose from and still blew it? If you gave him the best players in the World he would still blow it because he is a serial loser. My criteria is simple, pick winners even if it was the Championship. You won't get much support for Pearce because we all know how it will end. We need to think of a younger manager English or not that knows how to win and not blow it at every tournament. Case Closed.
**** me that is some funne qoutes from Harry Spot on! When it was suggested that Southgate knew the way the Football Association worked as well as the English "system", Redknapp responded: "Knows what system? The losing system? He knows the losing formula?
Hardly case closed. repeating the same stuff doesn't make it any more true. Pearce would get the team playing for the badge and for the country. It's clear you don't like the guy, but he's who I would pick over anyone else, to put some fire back into the team.
What i meant by 'case closed' was from me talking about Pearce. You can carry on if you want. I have nothing against Pearce, i just think when it comes to his management he is a loser, which by the way he is. You can't even admit that he has won nothing and blown all his tournaments? The bloke is a dinosaur and i would never want him at QPR let alone England. Plenty of Forest and Man City fans will tell you what a crap manager he is. All this bulldog spirit and motivation didn't work in the past so why would it work in the modern game? We need players that are skillful and committed but more importantly a manager with a tactical brain. Quick example for you: Last year i was listening to a game on TalkSport or one of the other stations which he was commenting on. Just about everything he said backfired or was wrong regarding the outcome. I remember at the time, thinking what a muppet he was. We need a young tactical manager not a loser from the past.
Totally agree with everything you say Eller's.......but do we really think the FA will choose a young manager? They seem to only go for a certain type.....and they're pretty much all the same. Unless they go foreign again.....which i'm not averse to
He had a run in with the English U21's in Croatia that got ugly, Unless I'm mistaken it won't happen.
