While i dont want to pour cold water on this, and would love him to be a class player for us, i just wonder why Fulham let his contract run out?

They offered him several new contracts, all of which he declined. He was determined to move on this summer. They attempted to sell him to spurs in january for £6m but for whatever reason it fell through.

Still not happy about this. 17 goals isn't CELTIC CLASS. No EUROPEAN experience. An AVERAGE haircut.

It appears to me that BRENDAN has not got a clue, and I am genuinely CONCERNED for this season.

ffs when have have French players been any good? This smacks very much of short-termism, we really should be looking at players who no one has ever heard of, possibly in north America, there must be loads of players who can't get a game or have not played for a year who we could have signed for a stick of bubblegum and a Panini album <grr>

He's still young and learning but the one annoying thing about him is his consistency. One game he can look a world beater and unplayable then the next he is very average. He's also the sort that needs 3-4 good chances to score one goal, can be frustrating. Can only improve though and will be worth a lot of money in a few years.
 
I am actually genuinely worried about the forthcoming season. With Rangers signing high quality and experienced players and Kilmarnock signing 11 players in one day I think we'll be lucky to finish top three.

So far all we've signed is the black Tony Watt. It's simply not good enough.
