Hang on a minute ... if the legal lot rule that the Tories breached electoral rules by overspending then certain seats gained would be deemed 'void'. That means the Tories didn't legitimately get a majority and as such could not implement their manifesto, thus the referendum was illegitimate and can not stand

Anyone who is obsessed with immigration probably is, yes.

I have, from time to time, walked round Finsbury Park and thought "**** me, am I the only English **** here?". But then I shrug, get a cup of tea from the Turkish bloke in Station Place, and get on with my day. I don't walk around muttering to myself about "bloody foreigners", I don't turn one issue into a political philosophy, and I don't vote Ukip because, guess what? I'm not a thick ****ing racist.

Oh yeah, and the Turk makes a decent cup of tea.

Take a bit of time to look at the recent reports of racist abuse in the immediate aftermath of the Leave vote. Good, solid English types turning on eastern Europeans, Muslims, Jews etc. They were racist knuckle draggers before the vote, of that I am certain, but Brexit just gave them a convenient excuse to shout their mouths off. Give someone who hates others even the slightest air of legitimacy and they will pick up the torch and keep running with it.

With your dual Sri Lankan heritage just how dark are you Ponders? Dark enough for some twat in a 3 Lions shirt to call you a Paki? Nigel Farage and the Ukip Brexiters ran a hate campaign based on deep seated English racism. A handful of Sun reports over benefit scroungers, killers and rapists not being allowed to be sent back to their country of origin due to the Human Rights legislation got some people's pants in a bunch, enough to convince them that leaving the EU was the only thing to do.

The flag wavers have been waiting for an excuse, Brexit has given it to them.

I am aware it is an island *****. An island that cannot "protect its borders" as Ukip have repeatedly said it would do. If a handful of Albanians can give it a go in a dinghy anyone can. It makes a farce of all the official numbers touted around in the Brexit campaign. Farage and his cronies have been banging on for years about our sovereignty and being able to control immigration. My point is that we might well be an island but it only takes a short boat trip over the channel to rock up here and there is no way of stopping this happening. Thinking that voting out of the EU can somehow stop immigration is a joke.

We'd need a load of these first
