I voted out.
It was nothing to do with immigration though.
I voted out mainly for 3 reasons
1) I don't agree with a continental government, their ultimate aim is EU controlled borders, EU controlled military and regulating the **** out of everything to a fault.
The idea of an EU controlled military is frightening to me.
2) Sovereignty, we do not elect these people, cannot oust these people and our MEP's make up 3% of the EU. We are powerless to change anything from within, despite what a lot of spoonheads have been saying.
3) The EU is an unsustainable model, it believes the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, which is fine if you are the many, but **** if you are the few (Like Greece). One by one this was going to happen, I am glad the UK was the first. Whether we stayed in or out, the EU was dead within 6 years. Am just glad we have a head start on our trade agreements when it finally goes to ****.
Resentment towards the EU is sky high in Italy, France and the Netherlands. Most polls put Anti-EU sentiment at around 70% in the Netherlands apparantly.
The EU is ****ed, and would still have been ****ed if we had stayed. So there's no use crying over it.
Our leaving will just expedite matters.
