Not again - man had one good season but has done bugger all since then.We appear to be linked with Wilfred Bony - probably not for me but does have goals in him and a different option to Vardy
CR has been playing Schlupp in the middle late in the season - maybe that is how he sees his future.According to the Leicester Mercury we are in talks with Robbie Brady's representatives
He is too similar to Schlupp IMO to make signing him worthwhile but he did have a very good Euro

This is why we are after Deeney - would be perfect in that role.Schlupp did start off as a striker so he clearly can play down the middle, not sure he's really got the brains and technique to play as an attacking midfielder. Brady could play that role though, I'm sure. Not sure on Bony, he'd be an upgrade on Ulloa, but again not sure if he's got the right mindset to play alongside Vardy, and that's what we need to find really, another partner for Vardy. Personally I still think Okazaki has done a good job of that so far, and that he has maybe struggled to adapt to the league, and could well improve next season. We should sign someone younger as both Vardy and Okazaki are nearing 30 now.
l´d have him. l think CR can get the best out of him, he never got to much of a chance at MCFC.
What has Bony done since then except warm a bench behind a 18 year old whose name I won't attempt to type and Aguero who was half fit at best most of the season?Season before at Swansea Bony ripped us a new one tbf ... if we could get both Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bony we'd have another Drinky Vards combination ..

Might as well go after someone like Adebayor if only past glories matter.
Wouldn't mind if we signed one of the Iceland forwards along with Sigerdson - they played like us yesterday.
I don't think that he and Vardy can play together as they are too similar - both of them like to play off the shoulder of the defender and run into space and neither are known for their linkup displays.Bony hasn't become a bad player overnight by any means ... I recall watching City's away fixture at Sevilla in the Champions League last season where he got a start and played very well indeed, scoring in the process ... and remember what Sevilla went on to do ...
... but he rarely got a start becasue Aguerro was always going to be the main man and prefers a solo role rather than a strike pertnership - as Dzeko and Jovetic discovered to their cost ...
Comparison to Adebayor is well off point IMHO ... Bony is still young and could play in combination with Vardy ...a much better comparisonwould be to Eder and Pelle for italy ... next season we will need such variation as teams will already be planning to counter the quick ball over the top approach ..

He would be the same as he was at Man City as Vardy is our main man - a bench player that might play cup games - and he has shown that he is no motivated enough to do that.
OK then - from what you are saying he could be an upgrade to Ulloa.... similar? ... Bony has tremendous strength and holds the ball up incredibly well linking up particularly well with midfield players with a finish like Sigurdsson ... likes to play with his back to goal and is excellent in the air ...
Vardy is none of those ... ???????????? indeed almost the exact opposite ...
... watch this ...

Could he work with Vardy though : had always been a lone striker.
