They will use the Euro!...

The reason they chose not to Leave The UK last time has been explained...

They chose not to leave last time based on there not being a strong enough economic plan (it is now ridiculously weaker) and an affinity with the U.K.

There was also no appetite amongst scots to take on the euro if they had achieved independance in the last referendum and I highly doubt that position will have changed.

No there wasn't a clause in the 2014 referendum. The clause you are referring to was actually a manifesto pledge from the SNP in Mays elections. There is no basis for them to call a referendum without it going through all of the required channels just like last time.

The SNP don't have a majority and as such won't get the legislation for a referendum passed, all the other parties are against it.

The scots also voted overwhelmingly to remain part of the U.K. with more people voting to stay in the uk than those voting to stay in the EU and voter turnout of a million more people.

There are no conditions from the old one allowing her a new referendum and she will almost certainly not get a new one.

And if she did, for the reasons I've already listed it is very unlikely the Scottish people would vote to leave.

You are wrong.

Sturgeon disagrees with you. She will push, and she will win!....

No! They chose to remain part of a UK that was part of the EU. We are no longer. If that had been the case at the first referendum, they would almost certainly have voted to leave...

Scotland is a problem but it will be a peaceful process. Northern Ireland is more of a concern.

Ok, so I present all the facts and you just say "it will go the other way" - think we are at the end of this particular discussion then! Sturgeon is the head of the SNP, she will continually sabre rattle and push for a referendum, it doesn't mean it is likely to happen.

It WILL happen. The only question is how soon!....

They didn't decide to remain in the UK based on it being part of the EU, overwhelmingly the economy and relationship with the U.K. were given as reasons for the result. Yes the uk at that time was part of the EU, but the idea they would have chosen to leave if not is just not true.

Yes! The economic conditions at that time were whilst we were in the EU. We are no longer.

Did you not notice that Scotland voted overwhelmingly to remain? Yet, once again, their wishes have been denied by England.

Sturgeon will get her referendum, and I'd bet she will win - by so quite some margin too!..

Omg... You can bet all you like but all of the facts and statistics back up what I have repeatedly said.

No, they don't!

The SNP are by far the largest party. This further denial of Scotland's wishes will fuel her support once again.

She will win, count on it....

Yes, they do. It's all there to see.

Yes, the SNP are the largest party, yet still a minority in the Scottish Parliament and as such unable to call a referendum. The other parties don't support a referendum. She will need a majority government, it's another five years before the next elections in Scotland. Between now and then, there is no chance of them getting a referendum. Beyond that, it is once again unlikely they will get a referendum for multiple reasons, many of which I've already gone into with you.

Then you're very short sighted.

The U.K. Economy will diminish significantly if Scotland leaves...

Will barely make a ripple in the grand scheme of things, once they've sorted their own currency and economy. Byeeeeee.

If the first thing they think when things don't go their way is to whinge they want out then, frankly, **** them.

This is pointless! They are a whisker short of a majority. They are by far the largest party! They voted overwhelmingly to remain. They were denied by England yet again.

Work it out!....
