Not so sure there are some pretty scathing comments from some, i understand being disapointed but some are getting close to the mark.

It won't affect me then, but thats not the point. We all know its going to be hard and things will be **** for a while, the good thing is this is happening now. We can start to deal with it. Who knows in 5 years time we could be looking back at this as the best day in our history.

Cameron: 'We should be proud of the fact that we trusted the people. There are times when it is right to ask the people themselves, and that is what we have done. The British people have chosen to leave, and their will must be respected.'

    Cameron:

'I've very proud and very honoured to have been Prime Minister of this country for six years. I believe we've made great steps: more people in work, reforms to education... and enabling those who love each other to get married, no matter their sexuality. And restoring our economic strength. We have to confront big decision, not duck them. That's why we went into coalition and why we delivered a fair and legal referendum in Scotland and it's why I held a referendum on our EU membership.'

'I gave my views: head, heart and soul. I made clear my views and I made clear that it was about this, and this alone. And I made clear it wasn't about any politician. However, I recognise the need for fresh leadership.'

'I do not think it would be right for me to be the captain that steers our nation's ship. I do think it's in our interest to have stability. I won't set a date, but I think we should have a new Prime Minister in place by the time of the Conservative Party Conference in October.'

Not quite. He's said he will step down in October, after the CPC when the party can choose the next PM.

Oh, come on. He can't be at the helm now. He just can't. Nothing to do with jumping and running off from politics altogether.

He's just said that a PM who campaigned to remain can't be the PM to lead and negotiate Britain's way out.

    I agree.

I think so, yes. Someone who campaigned so strongly against the idea then can't be sat there negotiating all the deals, surely?

Best that Cameron steps away now and lets the future negotiate their own path.

Really? So we want someone to lead us who doesn't believe in where we are going?

Sorry to see him go, because we will have some Brexit nutjob. But he had to go. Emotional moment for him and his family - people shouldn't forget that.

Boris is a total dick - I beg any Tory voters to reject him.
