    I
i know what you mean, but they're drifting further now I think
If you expect a leave vote then lump on at 9/2. You can only get 1/7 on remain (I haven't checked them all, in fact only one)

As I don't live in Hull I have made my choice based on other factors.

Actually I do have a question, the answer of which I'm genuinely interested in - has the official stance of our club and the Premier League influenced anyone on here? Has it made even a 1% difference or aren't you influenced by that?

Didn't realised they had a stance until you mentioned it. What is it out of curiosity? I've already vote and wouldn't change it if I had the option because I voted purely on principle and nothing else.

Remain. The Premier League and every one of the 20 clubs publicly declared this position.

Well, like I said, the experts and politicians didn't alter my opinion, on either side, so I can't see celebrities, football clubs or anyone else altering it. I'll admit that I voted for selfish reasons; I voted because I see the EU as an obstacle to my own ideals which would be some form of individualistic philosophical anarchism. If it was up to me I'd break up the UK as a nation state as well.

I think OLM for one it did, he said if the A. Allam were voting to leave, and the guy is obviously crackers then that made his mind up for him.

I totally agree on your first point, I'm just interested in it. I wonder why both sides in such arguments are desperate to get endorsement? Does the way David Beckham votes from his mansion in LA influence anyone?

It's the same as advertising, who buys a perfume cos it's got somebody in the advert or indeed is named after them? I mean, it must work or they wouldn't continue to do it but I just don't know who is influenced by it.

I personally haven't seen what the clubs stance on it is.

I'm not sure why people are influenced by others in their decisions, particularly by celebrities. To me it suggests people are vulnerable and susceptible to mass propaganda. You would never see me telling others on Twitter to #VoteRemain or #VoteLeave. It's not my responsibility to tell you how to vote based on my own views. Do as you wish. My own political views come mainly from philosophy and even then I don't fully agree with the philosophers I've read. I like Stirner's egoism, Nietzsche's amoralism and Proudhon's absence of a master. I didn't vote because of parliamentary sovereignty; I actually detest parliamentary democracy. I voted for selfish reasons and that's that. I understand you're voting Remain? Again, I don't care how you vote and my life won't be particularly different either way but the EU is one obstacle of many to my own views and if I've got an opportunity to remove one obstacle, I'll take it. Opportunism and selfishness motivated me in my decision and I'm content with that.

Just an assumption. It seems you might be voting for economic reasons. Are you not voting Remain?

To be honest, no matter where you live, the thinking behind your news story is just daft.

You'd be surprised. The overwhelming majority have wool pulled firmly over their eyes and tag along to the mainstream party line. The type of people who hve no idea music exists outside of the top 40, who watch X factor, and buy perfume because it's called Britney Spears or Rihanna.

Anyone who votes the same way as the Premier League, Tony Blair and Bob Geldof needs a long chat with themselves in the mirror.....

I've not stated how I voted nor will I be. This is just my preference, nothing more.
