    Probability
Some people understand the difference between probability and probably and use accordingly. Some others obviously don't.

    Lavish funding for Hull?

    Realy?

The last time Hull received "lavish" funding was in Edward I's charter in 1299.

Yes, that's the perception and a constant bleat from the dumb bunglers who run our city. But by objective criteria is it?

I was basing my statement on the probability that their parents and others would have contributed. Not that the probably had. Or even possibly had.

Strange. Local politicians in Hull in favour of staying in were saying how well we have done in Hull and how leaving could adversely affect this. Scaremongering? Lying?

All over people changing their votes
    Along with their overcoats
If Adolf Hitler flew in today
    They'd send a limousine anyway

    Fascinating thread.

I now see why the powers that be don't want any political discussion on this forum.

big turn out here too , at the last gen election there was nobody wandering about , today there were a good 20 of people entering or leaving around 9:30 this morning !!!

Its a shame we never discovered exactly what the Government and Treasury would do if we exit , all the Remains figures seem based on we listen to the EUs offer , we bow our heads in sorrow and sulk off .
IMO none of the Cabinate or Treasury official along with the BoE should be allowed to campaign - Why ?? because they quite literally talked down the economy over and over if we leave , this causes major panic to the Bankers because they like safe outcomes even tho they are all Hedging our pensions etc .

So its frustrating to hear that Cameron wont say things like " if the people vote leave , i may not agree with them , but i will fight hard to win new deals and cut Tarrifs etc etc " - but instead we all suffer because the remainers would have to fight for our economy if we Leave the EU .

sorry but that is far too simplistic
some areas get more money because they need more money for all sorts of reasons, and the variance is decided by the Govt anyway in their spending formulas.
reductions in funding are far more complex than it being about who have "wasted the most"
some people have even suggested that the formula, and therefore the reductions, are linked to part politics!...I find that very hard to believe though

It's no different to the debates over football and Hull City - facts few and far between but prejudice and "one view fits all" very prevalent. Great stuff - keep it coming.
