Can anyone enlighten me on the difficulty I've heard mentioned over the border between the North and South of Ireland?

From what I can gather, the fear seems to be people walking into the north from the south? Is that right, and if so, why is is it any different to now?

Don't know but the only people who can legally claim asylum in this country as the first safe country they encounter is someone being persecuted in Eire who crosses the border into the UK.

The Economy is the most important thing, we leave and thats ****ed
Would you be happy living under a facist or communist dictatorship just so long as the economy was sound? Not for me.

BTW - I'm genuinely surprised by the poll on this thread - I was expecting a much higher percentage voting to Leave.

strange that you probably voted for this conservative government, and yet you call them fascist.
I am a labour voter.... I dont do fascism... maybe you do.

Media trying to make it as dramatic as possible by saying the opinion polls are close.

On Betfair at the moment Remain 1.28, Leave 4.4. Over £50 million matched on it on Betfair so far, money talks.

*LOUD KLAXON* Armchair Chancellor alert. REPEAT. Armchair Chancellor alert.*LOUD KLAXON*

I am not here to convince you son... I just hope you realise that everything will become very expensive when the EU apply taxes and tariffs when buying or selling to the EU
You vote for the Brit equivalent of Donald Trump.

We import more from the EU than we export to them. Still, don't let things like that spoil your fantasies.
We can apply tariffs on the BMWs, Mercs, Sudis, Citroens, Peugeots etc, French wine etc...

Whatever your opinion on sovereignty, immigration and the rest, I have seen absolutely no convincing arguments that the Brexit will do anything other than seriously harm us economically in the short to medium term. If we were to leave and prosper then it would evidently create a domino effect whereby all the other EU countries look to leave. For this reason the EU as an organisation can absolutely not afford us to do well out of a leave vote. If we do leave we will suffer, and that isn't "scaremongering" it is basic common sense.
