This could get interesting if a smaller team gets into the 1/4rs or when a smaller team gets into the 1/4rs I should say. You can see a big team panicking at the prospect of being knocked out by Wales or NI.

Well northern Ireland are a smaller team going to the quarters..... so... but no, big sides don't panic... they might be **** and can't score but they don't allow **** frees to go through their keeper nor do they give you the ball.

When does euros really start lads.. you know when the league one standard teams go home?

Qf?

England
Ireland (rep)
Iceland
N.I. (sorry)

All in last 16

Very little in one side of draw now....

So I can see an interesting half decent football v total **** team final

Don't be sorry MITO...we literally are a league one football team lol!

Rooney should practice what he preaches on this subject.

Wayne Rooney has advised England's less experienced players and their partners to avoid social media and to keep a low profile before Monday's last-16 match. It is understood the captain and other senior players have spoken to Jamie Vardy about the prominence of his new wife, Rebekah, in the media. (The Times - subscription only)

Seen plenty of his social media comments in the mainstream media during the finals and also his wife happily posing with the bus she hired to take her and her kids around France following England for an obscene £400,000.

So are england....

It matters not at this point as I'm sure while england whines about yet another let down you will have hg ad a great time.

Exactly...we won our qualifying group, survived what was supposed to be a finals group we wouldn't win a game in and now play Wales in the last 16...All while having a ball.

Obviously most neutrals would rather see Wales go through for the football..obviously I'd like to see the miracle..

The problem with England or its fans is the Premier League...They all play for rich clubs who paid millions for them so fans expect them to always be winners ..fact is othere countries have just been better organising national teams. So perpetual disappointment.

I've seen a lot of stuff on tv harping back to Euro 96...annoying lol..but you know England should point to that as a model..decent if not great team, with good team spirit and fans that just wanted to enjoy themselves....lighten up lads both team and fans...it's supposed to be fun!!

Also see stories about how poor Raheem is taking it to heart...apparently there's a go fund page set up to buy his ticket home..
