In the long run that draw and second place could be in England.

1) No game now for 7 days, which is plenty of time to prepare and rest.
2) Walker and Rose, who are key to our setup, will be extra fresh having been rested today.
3) We are likely to play Iceland (first ever tournament) or Portugal (who we have history with) next.
4) It seems fitting that we should play Portugal as they have been our bogie team. Its a rivalry we must overcome!

Its clear to me that Kane and Sturridge are our best 2 strikers. The 7 day rest will do them the world of good.
 
Hungary, Portugal, Iceland, Austria potential opponents.

To be fair, finishing 2nd in this group isn't all that bad.

Clyne should be playing ahead of Walker anyway. Best player on pitch today

It is mate, after that round (if we get that far) we'll have to go through France, Germany, Spain.

Had we topped the group we'd have a piss easier ride to the semi's.

That's ok, we'd be better against stronger teams anyway because we won't have to try break down 10 men.
 
Feel harsh for Clyne tbh. He was brilliant tonight, but won't play next time around because Walker has been one of our better players in the previous two.

We've got a few good players, but Roy can't get the best out of any of them apart from Dier and the fullbacks. Up top, we just don't look like scoring, despite the possession.

Possession means nothing... especially against a team that didn't want the ball for 80% of the game.

We created 2 decent chances, other than that, was nothing.
