Rumours of zenga as the new manager.

Its a real fight to stand still at southampton. they are getting picked clean every time.

somehow on the other hand spurs who've only been 5/6 points up the table from them have kept the side together slargely since modric and bale left.

Lloris, kane.... I think its cos spurs are largely functional players but have a rep of being very hard to deal with.

have southampton just been too... easy to deal with?

they coughed up lambert and then lallana and then lovern but held sneiderlin for a whole year beofre coughing him up. chambers went, clyne went for resonbale money... like yeah they prob got too much of LFC one summer but aorund that they've been just selling. wanyama now. who's next? pelle?

To Soton's credit, they still remain competitive.

Surprised your a fan as he's very limited on the ball, he does a good job and breaks up play well but ideally if we are looking at the likes of Alonso, Masch as a benchmark I'd want better than Wanyama. A good signing but nothing special.

Wanyama is not a beast. Not in the league of Hamman, Alonso,Masch or Roy Keane.

or just organised or just lucky?

    I dunno

they hired koeman and he specifically targeted pelle as he'd played with him before. bring a big man in to the physical prem approach. tadic same.

not sure who really targetted mane?

    Koeman signings:

    2014/15
    Tadic
    Pelle
    Forester
    Long
    mane
    bertrand (loan then permenant)
    Gardos
    alderweirld (loaded then back stabbed)

that was a 7/8 hit record

then this year not so hot..
    Juanmi
    soares
    Martina
claise (not so classy at all)
    romeu
    Lewis
    Van dijke
    austin

From that really one real hit, maybe two.. several misses

    so....

next guy in loses 3/4 players again...

well.... having a 7/8 hit rate isn't going to be easy every manager change

In fairness though... ranieir had an interesting summer last year Fuchs, huth (made permenant) kante, okazachi, gray.. all key men.. inler and a couple others not so much.

who knows maybe zenga if true can bring in a few more.

By Gray if you mean Demarai Gray (sp) wasn't he a jan signing and is just occasional sub though i think he is an interesting prospect and i would happily seen us take a chance on him for the quoted £3m fee

yes he was but he was a useful go to sub for them to keep putting on and resting legs so I think he deffo helps a bit for Leicesters cause.

it'll be a huge move and there could be 2/3 shed for sure from madrid to balance books. hence the big agent push on kovacic to drum up a bid.

Ched Evans has signed for Chesterfield. Hope he's allowed to just play football, guys done his time even though still doubts if he was guilty.

Whole thing seemed a bit dodgy anyway but plenty of other people have done convictions and then played football. Should he not be allowed to do a job after doing time like any normal person?

thats what i meant to a certain level he will probably be ok.

30k fans every weak calling you a rapist, wouldnt be long before it effected his mental state and game.

look at the ****e players like gerrard, rooney, giggs, barton etc down the years have endured from rival fans.

    He is allowed
however clubs like all employers are allowed not to employ someone with a conviction which they feel damages the company. I haven't worked for a company that would employ a convicted rapist which is why i'm surprised they didn't wait for the outcome of the trial.

mind you why i'm surprised at expediency overuling morals where a football club is concerned is beyond me
