He should definitely be dropped from free kick duty, I don't think I have seen him score one for almost 2 years, penalty's you know before the kick if he will score or not but he does so much more often than miss.
Yeh agreed. His free kicks are just on rep from his United days tbh. At Real they've been shocking.

Ronaldo's their best player by a country mile and then some. Dropping him would be crazy. But someone else should definitely take the free kicks. It makes sense for him to be on the end of them. That's the way it used to work between him and Figo! I think Deco used to as well.

Yeh but Ribery wasnt their best player. And he certainly wasnt better than Ronaldo. I don't think anyone even questioned Ronaldo winning it at the time.
Didn't nani take free kicks in his utd time? No idea if any good as he was probably told he was down pecking order as Ronaldo was there as well.

Portugal problem is they have lots of good players but have never had a line leading striker. I can remember way back looking at them with just one striker in 1998 and a **** tonne of attackers
