I'd hope we actually trim the squad and end loaning problem children out.

The fact is we grossly over paid for markovic and then decided Rogers had no use for his sour puss and so we loaned him out. He didn't do well so it's at least halved his value.

Balotelli is now worthless and we will pay his wages to get shut. Good money after bad.

I hope we get to 20 solid first team players plus 5/6 young players cos frankly we don't need more this year and if we are not in cl we are just collecting potential or average players.

    Big cull imo.

I'd rather klopp teach this **** we have to defend and solidify the team than us just let michael Edwards pick more guys.

    Minger, Karius, ward.. perfectly ok.
Clyne at rb with not much other.. gomez and flanagan
No lb worth a damn imo
3 cbs lovern matip sahko.. need one.
Can henderson at cm. Needs 2 imo. Grunjic?
Coutinho lallana and firmino in a line. Needs more here
Sturridge origi benteke upfront? That's loads for a one up tactic.

So.... Maybe origi gets schooled to play rw next year. Aubameyang did this for klopp for two years.

I would be looking to sell everyone not named above. Then get lb, cb cm and fast winger.

Hector, tah, Kante :bandit: and more

    I know we've no chanc3 of this but I think it's required

Too late! Kante is known about so won't come to us. We need to find the next one of Klopp does intend to play that way. Hector not seen as an attacking full back; not that would bother me if he can do his defensive job.

Not Ings? Ings i good. Proper good attitude pro who can press for days and chip in with goals. Not technically the best but makes his team mates game easier. Ideal squad player.

Personally I'd focus one the defensive spine first. Get in another CB and serious quality at LB and a CM who can set the tempo, create and chip in with goals. I'd listen to offers for Lucas but Allen stays.

The attacking quadrant get an extra season to make a claim. Grugic is apparently best as an AM so joins Coutinho, Firmino and Lallana in rotation. Markovic should get a second chance, joining Milner and Ojo in rotation.

Sturridge, Origi and Ings is a good selection fora season without European football. Sturridge plays well when he has a striker partner or a center piece to play off, so a strong option is also Firmino up with Sturridge drifting.

If we defend better, and have a better season for fitness in attack we will finish higher in the table.

Our goal scoring was quality for the final third of the season under Klopp. Lallana has come on a long way and is great at pressing and quickly turning possession around for us to counter attack.

    Karius
    Clyne Matip Sakho Hector
    Can Kante
    Lallana
    Sturridge Firmino Coutinho

For me mr ings might well go to rangers. I think he's another borini personally.

I would bascially agree up to a ppoint with the the signings

    my view is 4231

    GK: Mingolet will start
    RB: Clyne
    RCb: Lovern
LCB: Matip (sahko plays the warroir but his organisation is dogshit, plus he's let us down)
    LB: Hector, I hope so
    CM: Can
CM Henderson as of now. would love another
RW I think this is a gap. tempted to say origi
    ACM: Firmino for some games.
    LW: coutinho for now
    St: sturrdige if fit.

SO its not great. I think a CM like kante would transform the outlook but we need to break that 3 no 10s. origi on the right might occur but we need someone.

    Lallana is just another bottler.

Sky have been making that link for 3 days now, they score it as 3.8 out of 5 on the whisper board.

Good player that made a poor career move to Madrid. Hard to tell if he would be good anymore or not

Many players make the bad move to Madrid but kick on with great careers afterwards.

See Ings how i viewed Kuyt. Just because he is not the most technical player in the world is no reason to kick him to touch. His work ethic is phenomenal, it not like he is lame, he knows where the goal is. Like all strikers - thrives on confidence, and just before his injury he was turning in some good solid performances in a team where he was reasting from scraps. Agree needs to be given a chance.

I might agree if we can see him for that.

I don't know if the rangers stuff is a kite flying there or if there's something real but all we can say is if klopp let's Jim go he hasn't seen it in him.

Imagine if Kovacic is available he'd be looked at because he was a long term scouting target...

Or it's just a lazy link.

Would cost £20m or so no doubt. The club must be prepared to spend in that area if they were indeed after Dahoud.

Personally I'd take him... we can't go into the season with Hendo and Can as our best options. Is Hendo even our best option with Allen playing so well?

    Can is an automatic starter.

Given the links with Dahoud and now Kova, looks like Klopp wants a creative CM next to Can.

Doubt we will see Hendo, Milner, Allen or Lucas as first teamers if we land our targets.

I haven't see much of Kovacic if I'm honest. What I have seen is Croatia fall apart when he came on for Modric.

I know other factors contributed, but he looked lost imo.

I'm concerned about Henderson's injuries. I have seen to many players have seasons like Henderson's and never be the same again afterwards.

Personally I think Allen and Can is the more balanced pairing.
