It'll be very interesting to see both CUNCO and FRANKUUS in the Chesham. Reverse forecast anyone?!

After a couple of double digit priced winners yesterday, aiden o'brien runs highland reel in the hardwicke. Another that interests me is commissioned in the last. Good luck
    Cheers.

Have I missed something? Is Churchill actually Pegasus reincarnated? Even the stableyard cat is well-bred at Ballydoyle, so why is a maiden 11/10 favourite for a race featuring two unbeaten Frankel colts? I am delighted to see that Cunco has the services of stable stalwart Rab Havlin on the big occasion and Frankuus is no Frankel second string, so I agree with Princess that we want the reverse forecast – or better still a dead heat (two winners and two forecast payouts)!

The BHA handicapper must have been having wet dreams on Friday night. Who would have thought that a Group 2 race could be contested by ten horses where the difference between the top and bottom rated was just twelve pounds?

When Exosphere won the Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket, he was receiving weight from penalised St Leger winner Simple Verse but it is hard to make a case for her reversing the form given how decisively he won. Eagle Top has defected but it was hard to make a case for him reversing the Newbury running with Astronereus even though that was a tactical race. Chester 1-2 Dartmouth and Wicklow Brave both step up in class but the former’s trainer’s record in this race has to be respected if he is allowed a soft lead. The one that interests me the most is impressive Middleton winner Beautiful Romance as we have not seen the best of her yet.

The feature Diamond Jubilee Stakes is similarly closely matched but not so difficult to narrow down. Last year’s winner Undrafted has come a long way to find that the ground is not what he wants, so it is hard to look beyond the front three in the betting. Twilight Son really disappointed behind Magical Memory on his seasonal bow at York but both can feature in the finish here, along with James Fanshawe’s The Tin Man, clearly still on the upgrade after a great three-year-old season. It is impossible to assess Aussie raider Holler – he could burn these off and win unopposed or he could turn out to be an expensive pacemaker.

Erm 2 20 Ayr... What the **** am i dreaming? Whitman is 6/1, Doubly Motivated is 7/1. They are the two best horses in this 6 horse race by a country mile and trained by Johnston and Hills, i've had £150 win singles and a £50 reverse forecast. What the hell are the bookies on, feeling charitable today?

Churchill is the fastest Aidan has trained...he's got stamina onside too and he could just be about the best he's ever trained.

    Justice Frederick 40/1 E/W -
    2.30 Ascot

In a race where some of the form this far looks questionable albeit still very early to over analyse, Justice Frederick could well run a race above what the market expects here. A nice introduction at Tipperary was swiftly followed up with a good victory over one of Aidan's nice juveniles in Leo Minor. This stamina testing 7f should really suit the Lawman colt and I'm happy taking on Churchill and Cunco at the odds.

    Sir Isaac Newton

    He's a real force.

Really fancy him at 9/1 as I think he's a Group horse. Strong pace in a big field should help him settle.

Already put a fair bit on Cunco but at 10's Frankuus is making me part with a bit more cash. Both covered for win/each way and done the reverse forecast. If I have any winings i'll be betting on Mattmu each way @ 4:20

Have punted my plums off (by my standards) today. Could be singing castrato full time if fortune is unkind this afternoon!

Early start today...The boys In green are out relatively early, I will be too, home early though (probably) a draw would be far from a disaster today, a win would be unreal.

All the best with the racing <ok>

Lots of money gravitating towards this one Toppy - although the attraction is both equal and opposite (or am I straying into Keppler there?)

The various pundits seem to think that the Ayr 2:55 is trappy. There are three lines of form: (1) topweight Sound Advice beat Gabrial’s Kaka and Capo Rosso at Chester; (2) Off Art was second ahead of Express Himself, Fort Bastion and last year’s winner Two For Two at Nottingham; and (3) TREASURY NOTES won at Ripon with Lat Hawill second and Get Knotted third. Subsequently Capo Rosso has won at Haydock and Get Knotted has been second at York, but I think that David O’Meara’s gelding won with a little to spare at Ripon and can go in again for last year’s winning trainer.
