Good Morning Everyone, Has Chesh has a secret rendezvous with TC in France? please log in to view this image It is looking increasingly likely that Silvestri on on his way. The surprising part is that there are three Serie A clubs after him! Do we undervalue his ability? Would anyone be sad to see him go? Sources close to the club indicate that Leeds are looking for a British goal keeper. Both Lee Camp of Rotherham and Derby's Lee Grant have been mentioned. Reading between the lines, Leeds will be looking for an experienced keeper, looking to either move on or retire in a year or two, and hand the No 1 jersey to Peacock-Farrell. Thoughts? As reported earlier in the week, Leeds are definitely after Cherries central defender Tommy Elphick. He was an integral part of the Cherries’ promotion from the Championship in 2015. Injury in the last 12 months has hampered his progression last season, and perhaps a new challenge is what the 28 year old needs. Kalvin Phillips has penned a new 3 year deal. Lets hope he can find some decent form next season. Let's hope the 20 year old midfielder can impress and break into the first team.
Morning all... Think we could do better than Silvestre but thought the same about Kasper so who knows. We need to get a settled squad in place before preseason starts, Monk needs to get them working as a team, we need to hit the ground running, it just all seems far too slow at the moment.
Euros not over for another few weeks, then players will have a two week holiday, so most teams won't be able to sign players till all that's over. Certainly the standard of ones well be looking at anyway, so could be end of July before any decent activity. Suits me fine as I'll be on holidays
Morning ristac, Schmeichel was always going to be a great keeper, though hard for him to progress with his father having played the majority of his career at manchester united, and many Leeds fans having chips on their shoulders.
Happy paddies going home day. We had all their waffle, today they will have had their chips. Come on Belgium.
How can anyone be a lucky keeper? It was not exactly Roy Keane that had joined us, it was the son of a former scum player... Anyways Strachan never got much grief when he joined us. Why was this? a) He fell out with ferguson and wanted to leave b) OR the fact he was winning games so his manure past was not important anymore
They can be a keeper and be lucky enough to be in the right team at the right time. He won't look as good next season when they finish outside the top twelve. Strachan was a quality player when he joined us, was quality whilst he was here and found ways to needle whiskey face..... Casper was average and still held scum in high regard. He will end up playing for them if last season wasn't a flash in the pan.
