Before I'm taken for someone I'm not I would like to point out that I see language as an evolving living thing - the pedantry that a 'correct' version of it should somehow be 'locked in time' is absurd. Our dear Mr Gove has a lot to answer for in terms of propagating this stupid idea. Didn't mean to get serious but my last post aggravated me. <laugh>

There are university lecturers aplenty who preach that that correct spelling can be irrelevant if the words don't lose their readability & understandability - they refer to such as variant spellings.

And then there are the dyslexia experts who maintain the same point of view. This example is full of 'spelling mistakes', but, as a teacher, I would readily accept this and ignore those variant spellings as they make perfect sense. Incidentally, the boy's statement regarding how common dyslexia is in the world is fairly well spot on in my experience.

P'raps it's just Sunday morning, but I like the building at 4'15" that looks like an enormous breast. And a throat lozenge for the 1970s John Peel, please.

Anyway, point taken, BB, we'll no doubt see George Osbourne, Boris Johnson, Philip Hammond, Michael Gove, Nicky Morgan, Theresa May, et cetera, giving their all to some re-write of 'Feed the World' (maybe 'Squeeze the Poor'?) - will they get your vote then? ;)

Ha ha - how would any of you know my politics? I have never revealed my full political views on here. Just because I criticise some that are adored on here, it's mainly because I do not agree with their politics AND because they are just another member of the political classes - so that explains Comrade Corbyn (also I just cannot understand why people get so worked up with the Comrade jibe, he would consider it a badge of honour). The politicians that I most respect at the moment are the Labour MP for Luton South and the Beast of Bolsover - whilst I do not agree with their views on most things, they are decent, honest, honourable men.
I actually dislike Cameron, Osborne and Boris - Farage is just a pantomime villain who has served his purpose in getting this vote. I have wanted this vote since the Lisbon Treaty was forced upon us.

In reality I dislike most politicians of all flavours and my main reason for voting Out was to get another layer of the parasites away from my life - that's why I also fully support Scottish independence.
