Villa's new owner had this to say:
"I hope in five years, or after five years, we will talk of this club as Madrid or Barcelona," he told BBC WM.
"Or someone else as well known and accepted by people in the world to say 'oh, that's the greatest club'".
Fair enough having ambition but this makes it sound like he hasn't got a clue what he's got himself in for. He'll be lucky if they stay in the championship.

He does, if Short said that I'd be embarrassed and if he said it after we'd just been relegated I'd have to assume he'd had a severe mental breakdown.
It'd be funny if he was right though, Villa and Leicester gobbling up every trophy in sight.
It's the typical ****e you'd expect to hear from a Chinaman with absolutely **** all to do with football. He's an idiot who probably thinks he can find and buy the next wave of wonderkids on the cheap with great scouts and they'll start winning everything in sight.
His club is a mess, he'll probably just make them even worse.

Well that was a waste of a ****load of money.
Still something creepy about all this.
I just think he was an easy target.
He must have gone through hell since all this started, especially since the police tipped off the press about their first raid at his house.
They can`t do everything and while they`re going after the celebs they`re leaving the mp`s and lords alone.
