Lallana as been quality for a while imo, for both Liverpool and England. He just needs to add goals and assists to his game.

Lallana did fine playing in front of their lot who sat of flicking it about in field offering zero support to walker but... well he didn't exactly do amazing.

thats like saying yeah he's great but he doesn't actually do anyhting that the objective of the game is.. scoring and making goals... not so hot.. flicking it about looking good in space... geat.

He's involved in most build ups. Not everyone can assist or score, it's a team game. However, I did say he needs to add goals and assists to his game.

I understand that not everyone is able to appreciate what players bring beyond goals and assists though mate so I'll let you chunter away <ok>

well he did make a chance that should have been a goal
he was Englands most threatening player in the first half

true pity he rarely does either... nearly as rare as sterling.

not a lallana fan and never will be.

Didn't see much of the game today so can't really comment - but Lallana for Liverpool has been disappointing. He had a purple patch of around 1 month this season but has been anonymous for most parts.

Agree that goals and assists aren't the be all and end all but even then, he doesn't really create many opportunities and if anything, he ruins attacks by constantly dwelling on the ball, not seeing a pass or doing a cruyff turn.

If he could learn to play quicker, then he'd be a top player.

Hard worker, good technically - squad player at best.

Saying it for a while, his technical skill on the ball is very good, best in England no doubt. It's just what he does after in that final 3rd that lets him down.

Besiktas owner apparently wants Balotelli according to his agent. If we can get rid good, if we can take in anywhere close to £10n then perfect.

Continues to improve?

He did improve and then regressed back to his normal level.

Consistent improvement needed please <ok>
Hi Jimmy. <laugh>
Oh I agree he's nowhere near the level of consistency he needs. I'm just taking issue with the fact that it doesn't matter what he does some will never take to him.
Some fans seem to make up their minds for or against very early on and don't adapt it according to how things change.

If Balotelli came back, worked hard and became a 25 -30 goal man I'd change my mind about him easily. If Moreno learns how to defend I'll stop calling him names.

Lallana has probably been England's best player in the first half of both games - that's not suddenly putting him on a pedestal, just giving credit where it's due.
