Retained list announced

Mark Schwarzer, Dean Hammond, Paul Konchesky, Jacob Blyth and Harry Panayioutou have been released

Marcin Wasilewski and Joe Dodoo have been offered new contracts

 

Panayioutou released, thought he may have had a future. Glad Was and Dodoo have been offered new contracts though, can I assume that Chilwell has also been offered a new contract (sorry I've not read the thread about him for a while!)

 

Chillwell is on a contract that expires this season - is why Liverpool are bidding on him rather then signing him on a free.

Shame about Panayiotou - least he will always have this:

 

Surprised by Was but could play away at Fleetwood midweek in the cup

 

No one was brave enough to tell him any different. I wouldn't

 

Chilwell has another 12 months hence why he isnt included on the retained list

 

... looking at those not being retained at other clubs I'd take a punt on Sessegnon from WBA to boost squad and would add some quality...

 

He's terrible mate.

No thanks. He reminds me of Dany N'Guessan. Class when he can be bothered but not bothered nowhere near enough

 

...nothing like N'Gessan ...Sessegnon is a real talent ...but the points you make on attitude are fair enough

 

I don't rate him anymore - also a poor sign when he can't get into a dreadful west brom team
