It did make me laugh in the preview when they were talking about him and how he's obsessed with medals. I don't think he is, I think he's more obsessed with being the hero and personal targets.

Cracking player, but everyone that isn't Portuguese or a United/Madrid fan will think of him as a massive cock.

There's a serious effort underway to rewrite facts and make him best in world..

See Pele in on it to get at Argentina.... pity his bastion al side ****ed it si it's all for naught.

Coral do is not even the vest European player of last 20 years. Zidane was... let alone world.

He's a great individual player but not a great person.

Funny thing is in qualifying they scored 11 goals in 8 games in a group consisting of Albania, Denmark, Serbia & Armenia. 1.35 a game
Iceland scored 17 in 10 in a group consisting of Czech, Turkey, Holland, Kazakhstan & Latvia 1.7 a game in a much harder group <doh>

He is indeed a great individual player, he also does his bit for charity etc, he's the Liberace of football, so far up his own arse his eyes are behind his tonsils.

He doesn't have tonsils...or an appendix and only one kidney ...he got rid of anything that didn't make him as buff on the inside as well as the out...

Wonder how he'll cope with his first grey pube or if he starts going bald, he'll become a hermit in a few years.

I knows what I read about him and there ain't no smoke without fire, he's an image obsessed materialistic knobber ... football has given him everything so he should be glad he's good at it which I'm sure he is but he's got zero humility or appreciation for what it's made him, in the real world he'd struggle to get on anywhere

Look, when he played for Madrid at Anfield a couple of years ago he was applauded off the pitch. At his best he is wonderful, and an outstanding athlete to boot. But ****ing hell - I thought the TV commentators were ladling it on a bit tonight. Then by time I got to work and was listening to R5L their commentators, especially Waddle, we're utterly crucifying him (except Gullible Ballbag, who stuck up for him no end). Did he walk off without shaking hands with the Iceland players? Turd.

A true superstar and statesman of the game would have congratulated Iceland for their tenacity and hard work in their first ever game in a major tourno with a much weaker and less skilful team than their opponents, but a Ronaldo chose to slag them off and humiliate their players for their deserved celebration at the final whistle.

Cristiano Ronaldo did not respond well to Portugal's draw with Iceland.

He criticised his opponents and refused to shake the hands of the Iceland players after the group match in Saint-Etienne.

"I thought they'd won the Euros the way they celebrated at the end," he said.

"It was unbelievable. We tried hard to win the game and Iceland didn't try anything. This, in my opinion, shows a small mentality and they are not going to do anything in the competition."

Portugal had 72% of the possession and 26 shots on goal to Iceland's four

    What a twat.
