Is he fit for Chelsea? And if not does anybody know when he'll be back? Looking forward to him coming back especially with Meyler out. He has his critics and at the start of the season he had a couple of daft red cards but on his day he is dominant in the middle (and those days are becoming more frequent IMO) Only problem with him is that his reputation continues to go before him and referees just assume that when he puts a tackle in that it's a foul. Unfortunately it's going to go with him throughout his career but for me he'll keep developing into a top class midfielder. Hopefully England stuff before too long. Better than the useless pillock that is Gareth Barry....
Don't think he's fit to face Chelsea but agree with your assessment of him, think he can only improve under Sessegnon & Muntari.
Don't get me wrong, I love Catts, he's got a real big heart and always puts in 100% for us, but there is a problem which will stump his ambitions as a future England International and that is his lack of pace. IMHO, that is the reason why he commits so many fouls, because he does get skinned a lot by quicker players, so he brings them down rather than let them get away. Some say he is petulant because of his age, but I think he knows exactly what he is doing and unfortunately for us, that is going to mean more injuries and suspensions for the lad. He's spent to much time on the Physio's bench in the last few weeks, he may be fit, but not match fit, so I can only see him making the bench on Tuesday.
Lose my patience yes, act like a hard man no, I didn't hit or injure anyone or challange anyone to a fight
acting like a hard man, which he isn't Is that your opinion or a fact' I mean you come on here spouting off like some sort of idiot. Now that's definitely a fact,
Cattermole puts a strong challenge in and sometimes catches the man a bit late. Barton is just a thug on and off the pitch. Remember the punch on Pedersen? He claims to have changed but it's only a matter of time before he smashes someone. But before I go too far into slagging off Barton we must first of all thank him for time wasting the other week and giving us a nice few minutes at the end
You're welcome sir, and thank you for the 4 lovely points, they will go a long way to ensuring our top 10 status this season
You're very welcome. I for one, don't want to see you get relegated this season. I want the mags to stay in the EPL so that we can take all 6 points off you next season!
Ohhhh so that was the plan was it lose 5-1 and squeak a 1-1, be outplayed both games just so you can beat us next season? GENIUS!! Brucey really is a tactical mastermind. Where was his song by the way, I'm not sure I heard it
i agree with you dorset about his pace against quick players and some times he as played when not fit and that makes him look slow,i also think he trys to hard at times but you can see he is trying to curb himself a bit now ,he needs to get properly fit then we will have a good player on our hands
Andy Carroll's bird was chuffed to bits to hear about his impending move to Spurs..... She even took time out to pose for photo please log in to view this image
Can't disagree that we did not perform against you this season;however, many of our team had never played in the Tyne/Wear, Wear/Tyne derby before and I will admit some of them froze. Next season will be different all together my friend, because they have the experience under their belts now. Add into the equasion that we are adding some quality players to our squad and the fact that your team are highly likely to lose some of your key players by the start of next season? Even a mag wearing the rosiest tinted glasses can see where this is going!! See you next season and make sure you've got your tin hats on!
