But if your opinions are based on absolutely **** all apart from a dislike of foreigners then he makes for a cracking avatar.

Actually its fact that the EU accounts haven't passed its audit but mainly because they don't have control of where the money goes completely once they past some of it back to the countries. Another thing is that i think there is a much lower tolerance level to misappropriated funds (think its normally higher for normal audits, from what i've read).

Here's a good message from someone whos a leading economist

Same with the Inners and the PM is the biggest twat of them all.

I wonder what will happen when/if the MPs vote on the referendum after an exit vote because if they refuse to listen to the people I can see lots of civil unrest

Is this the guy who is based in the Isle of Man for tax reasons so doesn't get a vote? Close pal of Farage.

Dyson got a lot of bad press when he moved his HQ from the UK to Asia. I wonder whether he will move it back to the UK after Brexit!

    Thanks Bluey.

I suspect those Churchill quotes came as quite a surprise to you! <laugh>

You with your Churchill avatar and Ossie with his Man United manager avatar. A pair of old fools!

according to the ever unreliable wiki - "in February 2000 Dyson threatened to shift focus from his Malmesbury plant to a new plant set up in Malaysia because the government would not join the euro."

also "James Dyson mentioned that the market was largest in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and potentially in the Far East market, and therefore the decision to shift production to Far East was driven by the need to get closer to the consumer base. As Dyson was the major manufacturing company in Wiltshire, outside Swindon, this move created some controversy as trade unionists claimed that the move would impact the local economy hard."

also "In the following year, washing machine production was also moved to Malaysia. The move was driven by production costs in Malaysia which are lower by 30% compared with the UK, however it created a loss of 65 jobs."
