Maybe Gareth has distanced himself from the position. A statement to that effect would be nice

Short list of 4. Interviews start next week. Is Gareth on the short list? Did he apply? The lack of a denial from Wycombe smells of talks going on. If he wasn't interested, surely he would have distanced himself from it and there would have been a statement from WW. If he wants the job and doesn't get it I'm worried about how some fans will view it.

Warnock not at a club so available for free Gareth long contract will mean a big buy out clause which will put all but the most determined off if Blackburn want him it will cost them a seven figure sum
Warnock lives in Cornwall and doesn't want to keep travelling i read this morning it's one of the reasons he turned down the Rotherham job on Wednesday. As for a seven figure sum Guy that seems a bit high to me as he's done 2 years of his contract so only 3 years to pay for.

Anything happening. I haven't heard a thing. He did his business so early last summer that this is a bit worrying.

Very true, but how much of that was good business? I remember sellers and banton being signed very early........

So far all we know is a new pitch is being laid!

So far we have no goalie and Pierre hasn't extended his contract. Don't panic

I'm probably going to watch them in their first friendly which is over here. Bit of a trip but will be able to report back on how they look; especially as the team they are playing are in a higher league than Avranches (who they played here last year). I'll take my boots just in case they can't raise a team. I'll take my 11yo grandson too. He's pretty good and will help to bring down the average age.

I hope he's a striker! <laugh>
