do you define early as groups or last 16.

I agree a big name could have a disaster but by the look of the set up here you'd have to get <3 points to not get out of the groups i nthe 3rd place slot.

I think 3 drar could see teams qualifiy. one win and 2 losses... i can see a group like italy one being say one win 2 draws for 3 of the teams and all 3 going through.

I do think the top teams will be in QFs due to the nice draw of top v 3rd.... will there be a shock... anything can happen i suppose.

Mine would be germany, france... at a stretch spain. I don't see the rest doing it yet... belgium have been poor every time despite having all these players. they are of a type.

I agree with possible early exit for italy. Thats a tough group.

I think germany have the most. I think spain have an inexperienced line up adn i think france might fold at the back.

England QF min expected.. hope its not croatia in last 16... expect to lose 3-0 to portugal in QF.

I only put Spain is as they do have quite a few very good players and notably de Gea is the goalie so should save them when **** hits the fan, wasn't going to include them but they do have a winning recent history and coach so have to mention them in that group imo, but they don't look great up front or particularly in the midfield either, think they're stuck in between their previous great tiki-taka era and the new generation personally

Germany are a team right in their prime with world class quality everywhere on the pitch. If they don't win it they'll be scratching their heads why not, it's probably their's to lose

France do look strong with a sprinkling of world class talent in all areas but there are some question marks over true squad strength

Belgium on paper look great but they are yet to perform to the highest level, they're still dark horses really, along with Poland

I don't think England will get out of the group mate. As usual all the pundits are going on that we'll walk it but I don't see it, England are a mid-mid-table team in world football now and at best will probably scrape out of that group in 2nd place as Slovakia win it they've got a lot of players with good experience across Europe in different leagues, can't count Wales out either

Group E is a little bitch of a group. Ireland will be made out as the perennial whipping boys but that might not happen, there's fight in the team, Sweden are dangerous and could get through and Belgium should be winning the group, one iffy result for Italy and it could sink them, especially since they have to play Belgium first so should end up with an L after that game

for me on england is only contention. there is zero excuse to not get out of group. slovakia... meh. russia... weak willed... wales.. will get a draw v england at least.

I cannot predict that group E. with respect to zlatan but he's slow. sweden could be stimied by italy and ireland. Belgium are all power IMO.. and they should win the group but could **** it again.

You simply know though that England will contrive a way to make life very difficult for themselves in a supposedly 'easy' group. Yeah tbf you look at Slovakia and Russia's squads and unless you regularly wear an ushanka, drink several bottles of wodka per day and are regularly suicidal are thinking who, who, who, who, who ? Wales should be getting out of the group for me

E is deffo hard to call, anything could happen as the saying goes but Sweden are going to be one dimensional trying to get the ball to Ibra of course but he's an old guy now, can they play another way, probably not, not very well anyhow. Question for me will be can Belgium come together as a team as that is what it will take to win the tournament, if they can it should be them or Germany winning it. Italy are the weakest I've seen them I think, certainly won't be playing to score lots of goals, or indeed scoring lots of goals

Yes I know... we seem to be a pub team.. turn up on sunday morning wondering who plays where and who is available.

England in qualifiers would piss by slovakia and russia... no question.

in a tournament woy can't decide who is playing where and what formation so we will probably see some really poor defense in first game.

Slovakia?! They have skrtel and hamsik as only 2 half decent players and skrtel is pants for us. Rest of the team never heard of them so hardly top players across Europe.

England will get through, only really need 1 win to get through to next round but I fancy us to win 2 and draw v Wales.

Well I didn't say they were top players, but they don't need to be to bump England down to 3rd place, if they come together as a team they can do something, same with Russia and Wales

De Gea has not been sent home. He is in the hotel with the national team. There is a court case on the way. Innocent till proven guilty

    oh dear... sexual assault allegations.

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea and Athletic Bilbao midfielder Iker Muniain have been implicated in a case of sexual assault in Spain.
A protected witness in a court case against Spanish porn baron Ignacio Fernandez Allende, better known as Torbe, alleges that, in 2012, she was taken to a hotel room where she was sexually assaulted by two footballers, one of whom was named as Athletic Bilbao's Iker Muniain.

De Gea, then a Spain U21 teammate of Muniain's, has been accused of organising the meeting by calling Torbe to put him in contact with the girl, who was told she would be paid well.

The report comes from Spanish outlet El Diario and it claims that De Gea and Muniain may have to provide evidence at a future date.

However, despite being 'reported' by various media outlets De Gea has not been sent home from the Spain camp.

^^ Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has reportedly been accused of organising a meeting between a prostitute and two footballers at which a woman claims she was sexually abused.

Spanish newspaper El Diario reports that the allegations emerged in a statement given by a protected witness in a rape case against pornography producer Ignacio Fernandez Allende – also known as Torbe.

Torbe has been in jail since last April on charges related to prostitution, human trafficking for sexual exploitation, sexual assault, child pornography, extortion and money laundering.

The documents state that De Gea was not one of those present at the meeting.

Spanish police investigating the case claim that the witness’ statement was “highly credible”.

The Independent understands that De Gea has been removed from the Euro 2016 squad and will be sent home.

Neither De Gea's representatives, Manchester United nor Spain would comment on the reports.

According to AS, the Spanish police’s report on the witness’ statement states the following:

“Having brought TP3 (Protected Witness 3) to the room with the other girl, Torbe told her that they had to be with the footballers, and that they had to do whatever they wanted and that they [the girls] would earn significant money. When TP3 refused, Torbe took her roughly by the arm, saying they had to do whatever the footballer wanted, having sex with the new girl and her”.

“Both the new girl and TP3 were sexually assaulted by the footballers, given that if they refused they were physically attacked by both, and moreover, having satisfied the sexual desires of both players, the footballers threatened them in order to ensure that what had happened in the room would never be heard about. Neither TP3 or the other girl who was in the room received anything for the physical and sexual assault they suffered, with Torbe taking all the earnings”.
