Apparently we were offered Bassong for £4.5m and said no, if thats true then I doubt we will sign a CB as he is as good as you get for that money.
 
Ashley needs to sign some players to avoid a potential relegation. We are too injury prone. If we have our first team available all season we will get top half, but we will always have injuries so we need more players!
 
To add, I know it's only pre-season, but we have to buy to avoid a relegation fight next year. To only have one above-good striker and one great centre back is hugely worrying.
 
**** :/ apparently cabeye was amazing which it was a plus and another goal for vukic! positives people positives:) but we do need a better centre back than willo good servant but dosnt cut the mustard in pl unfortunatley

It sounded like Cabaye was mentioned alot on the radio commentary which is probably a good thing.

Don't read to much into this result and im sure Pardew is aware of the teams deffeciencies as much as any of us are before anyone starts going mental reeling off loads of positions where we need new players.

He may be aware, but nothing will be done about it, because the fat prick is trying to keep us in the prem on the cheap to make a huge profit for himself! I don't even give a **** about how much we get for Enrique, Routledge etc. because we won't see any of it!

i think the key now is to stop pissing about with lineups and play with our starting XI as itll be against le arsenal ie colo for willo harper for forster marveaux for shola and tiote for gosling against forientina

All I can really say is Forster had a stinker, Simpson needs to stop backing off and Sammy seemed embarrassed by our fans.
