It may well be a bit safer in the NE without it but will you miss playing Newcastle next season? I've only ever met one Sunderland supporter in real life and he was a nice fella, met a few Newcastle fans out in Holyhead one night and they were not so nice and looking to kick off. So anyway would you rather be in the same league and play them or are you enjoying their drop in fortune too much?
Isn't it better to beat them though? I'd be gutted if Utd or Everton were relegated, I'd rather them just avoid it on goal difference of something.
No thanks, I`d rather be in the prem although winning a place in the championship is a big step up apparently. I`ll miss their daft antics but that`s about it.
The horse punching thing was funny yet cruel and in no way do I support that kind of behaviour, but funny.
Can't speak for every fan but I don't know any Sunderland fan that considers Boro as anything close to a rivalry, no matter how much they want to be.
With Burnley favs for going down and some other **** teams in the league you should find it a bit easier to stay away from the drop zone next season. Imagine Newcastle coming up and you lot down they'd love that. You should be OK though with Borini up top he's class I wish we'd kept him.
Leicester were fav for the drop last year. Made reet mugs out you scallies. Eh la. Blue half of mercyside will put ya flames out this year Gerry Oh ferry across the ****ing mersey
30 miles south mate. Too far really for derby status. Could do with being a bit further south imo but there we go.
I'm going to miss the derbies, I don't mind the stress if I know we're going to win at the end. The team themselves, **** no.
