    Not going so well now.

Finn is just miles off. He's either alright with some unplayable deliveries or piss poor.

    He' the latter atm.

    Still in charge mind.

Talking about dropping him for next game on assumption we win this and win the series and give the other guy a debut, can't remember his name now.

    Its dragging out for sure.

finn is seriously **** yes and will lose his spot to woakes when stokes comes back.

Moeen doesn't look like doing anyhting but he's a streaky so and so.

Yes it is. the question on whether he will make 15000 is another matter but he is clearly the one really world class opening batsman england have had in a long time.

we've tried a lot with him and honestly none are a patch on him in form. I would say if he's got any sort of form he's assured of his place.

on a side note... england look 50% of a great side. anderson and broad are the clear no 1 bowling attack, but the issue is woakes and stokes developing. Moeen isn't up to it as a main line guy but he's streaky. he needs to make it with bat.

root is the other top class player then so hales, compton, vince.. we just need peopel to set up and fill in the batting line up and bolwers find more consistency.

    Deservedly so.

Him, Broad, Cook, Root are 4 WC players that would be in a world 11 if you ask me.

He's had enough chances. If he can't do it against these on a flat track, he's cack. Root gone for 3 as well, but his record is a tad better <laugh>

Hope they don't back to Balance... I'd be in favour of getting Butler back in the side!
Root up to 3, Bairstow in has a batter at 5, Stokes when he's back at 6, Butler in as the keeper and to bat at 7 and that still gives you someone like Ali at 8!

    what did i say yesterday?

engalnd know they've won it so they blow the last game and the sri lankans are desperate to save face so they bowl decent but not amazing.

84/4 on a flat pitch is RIDICULOUS.

175/5 now... like.... wtf.... flat pitch and frnakly vince... ffs. compton.. **** off... root, poor technique on the shot. cook can't complain but he was targetted for lbw and got 85. hales, silly.

like we should be lokoing at 600 here.. 300 might be hard. ali and bairstow need to get a 100 partnership
