Just read the comments section on the Le Tiss tears story on the beeb, the saints fans and many others can't agree what makes EFC a bigger club.
They appear to believe their last two seasons finishes makes them a bigger club, I suppose their logic tells them Leicester are now the biggest club in the country.

One of them ended their comment with "and Southampton is a nice place to live", ffs Koeman never lived in inner city Southampton just like he won't live on County Road to save on the petrol.<laugh>
Hahaha spot on mate.

In fairness I can under stand their bitterness, but their perspective is ****ing way off beam if they can't see we're a much bigger club who now have an owner with a vision to take us back to the top table.

Before Moshiri we'd have appointed the likes of Howe, Hughes or brought back Moyes, now we started at Mourinho and then took our second pick. A sea change at Goodison as Moshiri just paid what it took to make it happen.

Definition of a pot:

  1. 1.
a rounded or cylindrical container, typically of metal, used for cooking.
"pots and pans hung from a rack"
synonyms: cooking utensil, container, receptacle, vessel; More
  2. 2.
the total sum of the bets made on a round in poker, brag, etc.
"Jim raked in half the pot"
synonyms: bank, kitty, pool, purse, stakes, ante, jackpot
"Jim raked in half the pot"

verb
  1. 1.
    plant in a flowerpot.
"pot individual cuttings as soon as you see new young leaves"

  2. 2.
preserve (food, especially meat or fish) in a sealed pot or jar.
"venison can be potted in the same way as tongue"

Can't see "trophy" or "silverware" there mate although you can put things inside, say, the FA Cup so that could be accepted.

Local rivalry aside, a strong Everton FC can only make LFC seek to be stronger which is good for LFC and both clubs in the long run, and good for the city and good for English football.
<ok>

Thank **** Billy doesn't post anymore, he'd be at my throat for the above comment.:bandit:

It's about time the city made it's collective comeback mate.

We've had to watch United sweep the board for nearly 2 decades and then City become huge after their lottery win and we've largely both been watching from the sidelines (us for obviously far longer than you, before someone pipes up :) )

It'd be great to see the city back competing at the summit rather than with the also rans. Still a pipe dream today, but for the first time in years Evertonians have genuine hope.

Its got a hole in the top, it can be called a pot.

I also called it an amphor which is what its actually modeled off so yeah the rest of these LFC wannabes haven't a clue but I've not averted my eyes as utd lift it.
