We just had a "terrorist" attack over here that you won't have heard about...

Some mad twat stormed around Melbourne's Southern Cross station with a cricket bat putting it through six taxi's windows.

"This is a terrorist attack for Osama Bin Laden" had been scribbled on the face of the bat.

****ing loon.

Seriously though, there's much more to come across the globe.

There's no way the Frogs will be dealing with internal security on their own, pack of useless idiots. I doubt we'll see any trouble on a large scale of a terrorist nature.

They should get whoever does the Old Trafford bomb testing I guess.

Doubt anything will actually happen but almost anything can be classed as 'terrorist' really, the example Disco gave is a case in point. If it didn't have the name of a dead Al Quaeda written on it then the story would just be "twat with bat smashed some windows". He's doesn't sound like a terrorist really, just some mad bloke looking for attention. You're going to get that now and again whatever agenda people try and tie themselves to.

Lets face it, any mad sod can cause an incident with a lookalike vest and sticks of candy rock regardless of nationality or political leanings.

In the stadiums will be fine. But crowded areas, of which there's hundreads, will be extremely vulnerable. Rails stations, Undergrounds and squares will all be heaving for long periods throughout this tournament.
