Long Awaited has been very unlucky at Goodwood off higher marks than this.

12/1 looks big for me.

Only concern is its first run for a new trainer but Dore can do well these talented sprint handicappers. Track holds no fears.

Who would have thought that?

Wootton Bassett gets a Classic winner as Jean-Claude Rouget’s second string wins the Prix Du Jockey Club. They obviously thought something of Almanzor because he went off favourite for the Criterium International last year, ran in the Prix Fontainebleau and won the Gp3 Prix Guiche three weeks ago.

He now stands at Haras d’Etreham for €6,000. I wonder if that fee will be revised upwards for next season.

Cheers for the heads up. I'm raging at the ladbrokes app like Murray rages at randoms in the crowd!!!

Meh not really on fire the derby yesterday was just a pick, caspian prince was info, and Jacobs Cats was only just over 3/1.

Wish i had posted my fancy for Pucon in the last at lingfield last night though, had £30 at 14s and it pissed it <laugh>

Rhythm and Blues in the 5 10 goodwood, 12/1 and the last bet of the weekend! Clive Cox has his horses in such good order so far this season

Novak Djokovic continues his quest to reach legendary sporting greatness today. Needs a French Open to win the career grand slam and get to 12 slams. Joint fourth with Emerson and only Federer (17), Sampras (14) and Nadal (14) ahead of him. I fully expect him to win well. You don't win a semi final at the French for the loss of only 7 games if your aren't in form and whilst Murray beat him in Madrid 2 weeks ago, they both know that a best of 3 final in Madrid isn't exactly on the same level of importance as today's final. Djokovic is on a different level to everyone else currently playing and so i will bet big on a 3 sets to 0 (7-4) and 3 sets to 1 (13-5).
BOOM! Very predictable stuff.

Only cost me a fiver to stop that little run of form!

That's three "lower cost" stallions that have produced classic winners this year

Not wanting to curb the enthusiasm for this French Derby run but it was the slowest ever time by about 2 seconds. 2 minutes 11 seconds i think.

It was a dreadful race. At least yesterdays looked got have two or three good horses in it.
