It's that time of the year when anything good about them get's cherry picked...

I think this thread is trying to deflect from Liverpool's own perilous state. The Dippers have spent around 300 million in the last 4 years and in the words of their own fans, face a 'massive rebuilding job' at the end of it. It's almost too funny how badly that club is run !

To be fair I think you're right.

They thought they'd hit the jackpot with Klopp as most of their "rivals" were going through a bit of managerial chaos.

Klopp ends up finishing lower than Rodgers did and all of a sudden Guardiola is at City, Mourinho is at United and Koeman may go to moneybags Everton.

Don't think this is going the way the OP wanted it to<laugh>.Liverpoo need to spend 300mil,as do united and city.
Then Leicester will take the piss again.<laugh><laugh>

Whisper it quietly Paige but I think they finished above the club they sold their tat to for monster money!

Yeah, but the tat helped their new club earn more than their former club last season, more ££££'s to throw their way possibly.

Maybe even more win win for them to get a new manager and a replacement or three for the outgoing players.

I very much doubt it though now that Buck Rodgers has ****ed off.

I think you'll find Liverpool fans are more than happy with Klopp

To base his first (not full) season on what he'll be like is at best very stupid!
