My point was - and the posts clearly say this - that the price of buying a premier league club goes up relative to the increased income. If a championship club without its own stadium is worth for example £40m, then once it's promoted it doesn't still cost £40m, it's costs £210m, and therefore it's more economically viable to buy a championship club cos buying a squad to get promoted doesn't cost £170m.

Why is this difficult to grasp?
You also said we were less likely to be bought on the back of it.
It's clear that a sale was on the cards but as we have owners that are ****s it's likely not to happen. So with the greatest of respect unless you live in 2 parallel timelines you cannot say if you were right on that score. Saying a premier league club will cost more to buy than a championship club is like saying water is wet and that wasn't what most were arguing over.

You are now ever so slightly twisting that argument so you can say 'Oh look at me I'm right, aren't I a clever little lad'.

If you are that desperate then feel free. I find it a little sad but hey-ho.

I've never denied anything I've said. That's the thing with written posts that remain on the Internet, the evidence is there. Funny eh? Your problem is you don't ****ing read properly. I asked you several times to show where I said what you said I said and you couldn't, because I hadn't.

that makes a lot of sense !

I think the last thing that is clear is a sale was on the cards.

Was it?

That would be great, but I don't remember them saying it. Any chance you could refresh my memory and point out where you got this quote from? I can't even remember who the new owners are, let alone reading their statement of their plans for the future. Must be losing my memory - after 50 plus years as a Hull City supporter I guess that is kind of inevitable.
Burnsy said it on RH on I believe it was Monday when he was doing a precis of the rumours circulating. Maybe I should have added, 'if thats to be believed'.

(By the way you do realise I've never watched Frozen and these song titles are from Google ...honest!)

I on the other hand, due to having four g'daughters, have seen it at least fifty times; it's the go-to entertainment (and has been for the past 3 years) for times of inclement weather ........... you've never lived tash :emoticon-0120-doh:

It was on a big screen at Masham when I went there with Guvnor666 for the Tour de France...however there were also places selling beer so I chose my go to entertainment!
I'd be happy with grandkids, but the change of viewing might take some getting used to!

You never get used to the change of viewing but, you watch them watching it and you don't really care .......... just don't join in with the songs :1980_boogie_down:

Swansea look like they're going to be bought for 100m, which is obviously less than the 170m of guaranteed revenue they're about to get.
