Mr McNutly proudly tells us we need to know something that's obvious.

The stats you need to know
  • Chris Smalling scored his first goal for England in his 25th appearance for the Three Lions.
  • England's last three goals have been scored by three different Manchester United players (Marcus Rashford, Wayne Rooney and Chris Smalling).
Yep.........its all about Utd.<whistle>

Haven't they all been assisted by Sterling as well? Sticking with the Manchester theme.

I was thinking Morata or Costa when I asked. I've since found out Costa isn't going.

However, I changed my FF side to include C.Ronaldo instead lol

Aduriz is the form player and the wildcard. I reckon he could start.

Forgot about him. My opinion: Maybe?!?!

Probably not, but the only thing he has over Morata is that he's been a regular starter over the season, Morata has been in and out of the Juve side.

And they've all meant **** all and will only highlight the lack of any meaningful contribution from Man Utd players when it comes to the actual tournament [HASHTAG]#doingamanutdplayerforengland[/HASHTAG]

I rate Jazz Richards too but to be honest I want to see Chester playing at RCB and I don't think you can leave Gunter out.
I was stalling between Chester and Davies to be honest. I think this was the back line that beat Belgium. But the front 6 pick themselves as long as Ledley is fit to play. <ok>

England have been ****e for the last 20 yes, not suddenly going to change is it, and we have had more talented players and managers than the current lot and still failed.

I very much hope so and with Roy going with all the usual players and not bothering with the talented younger players it may well happen.
Frankly if England don't make at least the QF, the Woy and some of the players should be out. Should be Rooney's last tournament no matter what, what was the point in picking Wilshere who's had less than a handful of games in the last year

Well... looking at it.

england really can't fail to get out of group. the standards required to do so are not high.

If we don't do russia and slovakia we should be ashamed deeply. even worse than world cup. Wales... meh.. prob draw that game cos wales will fight for that point.

IF we finish first in group we will play a 3rd place team form groups A C or D. thats Switzerland/romania or ukraine/ni (doubt it'd be poland) or turkey/croatia.

The last is most concerning croatia have a few good players for sure.

If we finish second... letting russia wales or slovakia do for us... thats shameful but.. if we finish sedon its an even EASIER game. second in b plays second in F... yes thats right second... so thats most likely austria

So... if we cant get to a QF its a joke. sorry but it is.. there is no excuse IMO.

IF we win the group we will pace PORTUGAL (again.. why did we play them in warm up) or ITALY or Sweden)

if we finish 2nd we wil end up with France manybe.

So.... in the end i don't expect england to get past QF.

It's not an easier game, 2B v 2F but 1B v 3ACD

Manic Street Preachers + Joe Allen v Tinie Tempah + Wayne Rooney

We're ****ed

The bracket system for the tournament is a bit ****ed up with the 3rd place thing...

Winners of each group play the four 3rd place teams that make it through (fair enough)

Except the winners of group E and F, who play runners up of E and D.

Maybe it should be the best ranked winners that play 3rd place teams and the 2 worst ranked winners play the 2 worst ranked runners up.

Ah **** it...it's all complicated. It's gonna be hard enough knowing what results need to happen in the last game to see what team goes through.

In the end it's bascially rigged well enough taht it'll be a massive shock to see the last 8 that are not germany spain portugal france England belgium. the last two slots will fall to sides second in groups and could include italy.

The minute england get in that company they are getting beaten.
