You missed out Schmidt. Not yet 50, has a bit of experience. Pretty sure he can speak English. Already managed in the UCL and UEL. Giving Leverkusen a resurgence, playing some decent football. Here's his managerial record. please log in to view this image
Actually Leverkusen were great to watch last year. Sevilla were far less exciting under Emery over the course of the season. Would love to gamble on Sampaoli, there were rumours after the Swansea approach that he was learning English, he would take us to the next level, I'm sure of it.
Yes RK was a good signing for us, but in all fairness he wasn't ripping up trees at his previous clubs. Did well at Feyenoord but I think it was FDB as manager of Ajax that won the league twice whilst RK was in charge? So there's a decent option straight away.
If he does leave lets hope there is no player "EXODUS" gotta take the rough with the smooth supporting saints thats for sure Anyone else tempted to logout and not come back to not606 until july
Re' DTLW's earlier post it does make business sense to move on, or let move on, someone who is not going to commit to your business plan [five year targets etc. not going for broke with money] and I have to admit a few years ago I would have been fretting and worrying about it I'm a bit 'Bridge of Spies' now. If I worry will it make any difference? I check once in the morning to see if there is any news, and once in the evening and that is it. Just for a balance, amongst the 'prove you're more of a Nazi than me' posts on The Ugly Inside their resident ITK, Areasix, has posted his source says the club, despite all of the red-hot speculation, are not overly concerned and believe that Koeman will extend his contract in the next week. I detest that forum so I've sacrificed a little bit of my soul finding that. This obviously means he's off tomorrow...
If Ron goes it just means that his ambition is different to that of the board. Ron's ambition will be to do the best he can, for the club, but primarily for himself, because if the club continues to perform well, under Ron, then he puts himself firmly in the window for one of his dream jobs. The board's ambition is, quite rightly, to do the best they can for the club. Their ambition has never swayed. They have continually said that the aim is to improve year on year, something that Ron bought into from the start, and they have delivered. I don't think their ambition can be questioned.
I've just sussed it. Has anyone checked to see if his son is following Everton on Twitter? Then we'll know for sure
I have to say there would be a certain irony to Koeman leaving shortly after Les Reed gave a public interview where he said both that the club do their business quietly and that we are negotiating a new contract with him.
And all those who flap like penguins at the merest whiff of newspaper piffle should hang their heads, have the tiniest smidgen of faith [which they obviously lack], and remember the next time any other rubbish is reported.
I dont care what anyone says, but putting that les reed video out has made the club look abit silly. (Assuming he goes) (very likely)
