Should be a good test tonight even without Ronaldo, Portugal are no mugs. Hopefully he plays a side he plans to start the Russia game with but knowing woy I doubt it. Our record against these lot is shocking so I'll go for an away win.

 

Hopefully Jose will kick Lallana up in the air, a few times, if they both play. Or in the tunnel if they don't. I'm not fussy.

England line up v Portugal: Hart, Walker, Rose, Smalling, Cahill, Dier, Milner, Alli, Rooney, Kane, Vardy.

Surely Vardy and Rose cannot play on the left together, we will get annihilated defensively on that side otherwise?!

30 minutes in and the fact that our most effective player, so far, is Walker, speaks volumes about the performance.
