Hmmmm..... 45m is a good offer for Coutinho whos is a bit hit and miss. I still think he's your most talented player and although he flits in and out of games, i think it's because you don't get him the ball enough in dangerous position. Not sure whats happened to his passing ability as i highly rated it when he first arrived (the balls into sturridge sterling and suarez was unbelievable) as it's gone really hit and miss. His dribbling and going past a player is still there and great that he can go either way and his shooting is now pretty good (was as good as lucas when he first joined!). I feel what he's lost is the team ethic that made him so good. He's too busy dribbling past players and doing too much nowadays compared to when he first joined. I still would keep him as i think if you built around him he'd be fantastic (plus make him less greedy). Wouldn't mind Chelsea snapping him up. He's just got that ability to win games dribbling past players, turning players compared to someone like Cesc or Ozil who if marked closely just gets bullied off it.
he's a magician... when he actually gets space and turns up. I think he's been completely marked out of every europa game since Utd let him score. he's not been able to find himself space, hasn't coming into an LCM slot to dictate play and just wants to come inside and shoot. He's a very talented boy.. he is our most skilful player... but he's far too inconsistent. he will turn 24 this summer. how long do you wait for a guy to develop consistency.. 145 games for LFC now. don't get me wrong this has been his best year for us. 12 goals and all. but is he going to become a really top top player worth 45mil? or is he a nice tidy player who can play certain games? I don't know right now. Last summer I stated this was a big season for coutinho. He did ok for sure but i'd not call it break out year.
Answers here: MITO - Milik, big and nasty. at 1.86m tall Wenger - la maison from french division 4, 16 years olds Jimmy - Leroy Sane the next big thing from Germany Gerrez - No need for replacements, Flanagan can fill in there Mourinho - Paul Pogba LuvGonzo - Allen the welsh Xavi is built for that position Tobes - no one for you guys, anyone you buy will be **** and overpriced anyway unless they join Everton
Think you are being slightly harsh. I think as a left winger its easier to mark him out the game as the rbs/lbs can get tighter on him and he likes to come inside and he has to defend a lot more. Admittedly he went off the boil in the final and he's not a consistent dictator of games but name me who does from that position. (messi but the tactic is pass the ball to messi). Game's are dictated in the centre of the park by the enforcers and passers and from your defence not hoofing it clear. He might not fit into the klopp style though as i don't see coutinho as a player to press and press and press. As for his stats and his moments of magic, he's still managed 8 goals and 6 assists in around 24 games (if you look at his minutes) which is pretty tasty. He does need to learn to improve his decision making though which as i mentioned before has gone to pots. I'd say 45m is a good price where you won't regret it and is definitely acceptable.
nah... milik is a striker to replace sturrdige my coutinho replacement is ..... Joa Carvalho (from football manager ) or Keita (lazio) or maybe Sane but you have him already. Or maybe Julian Brandt from Bremen... klopp might like him either...
hazard last year... no bothered this year mind. zidane was nominally that position. Reus... auba was played there to develop them moved in.. Cotuinho presses when he wants to. if one other player doesn't he gives up. thats what really annoys me. he's not a leader by example. he's not the eon saying hey i'm doing it get off your arse. he looks over and sees someone else not going and he just doesn't. When he does he's produced a lot of goals for us as if he wins it in space he's devastating. my view is consistency is key. moreno and him do not work consistently together. he's our best player but 45mil is all the money.
