Good Morning Everyone,

Surely today is the day that Leeds may begin to turn the corner.

I understand (some) people's distrust in Cellino after what we have been through as a club over his two year tenure, but I am positive that there are some Leeds fans that get on on the negativity, and before you ask, I am not talking about Not606.

Anyway, it is now clear that Monk has been offered the hot seat at ER, and the 37 year old is considering his options. We hopefully should have an answer later today.

The fact that betting has been suspended surely is a good thing, and before you ask about the Steve Kean link, I think that is a load of rubbish.

As reported yesterday, Crosswater, a firm which supplies bathroom fittings is to terminate their sponsorship from Leeds Utd.

Crosswater Holdings chairman David Hance sent a copy of the email to the YEP. It Reads:-

“It is with great regret that I am severing my commercial association with Leeds United.

“After 10 years supporting the club as a true fan, and longest-serving sponsor, I have had enough of how you run our famous club.

“For my brand to be associated with Leeds United is now an embarrassment to both me and my customers. As always, I will follow the club all over the UK but until you exit the club I or any of my employees will not return in a commercial capacity.

“I wish your task of recruiting another manager all the best. I certainly would not work with you or for you.”

Crosswater have become the latest in a long line of sponsors who are considering their options or have ended their relationship with the club because of Cellino such as Enterprise insurance and Flamingo Land.

Morning all. Maybe the Kean link is Cellino's idea of planning ahead. He's so confident of signing Garry Monk he's got his replacement lined up already <ok>

Monk a done deal. One year contract with option of a second. To be announced later today according to a sun reporter just now.

Personally speaking, I am really happy with this appointment. I think it's a step up from previous Cellino appointments. Of course, as others have rightly said, it all depends now on what sort of quality we bring in to improve the squad. It also makes me wonder if there is someone new in the background giving a helping hand. (Hopefully some interesting times ahead for our beloved club.)

Costa Blanca South, a small town called Los Montesinos 15 mins inland from Torrevieja which is 35 mins south of Alicante. Wanted somewhere still mainly Spanish to help the kids integrate into Spanish society.

I've got a place not far from you near Guadamar, just need to be able to afford to retire.

Monk was the best out of the realistic options IMO. My only worry is he was a one club man and that didnt work out too well for mcdermot. Also he is only 37, but managers do seem to be getting younger. Get him in now and get a pre season planned and target some players, we are already getting left behind. Lets hope for some monky magic <ok>

Nice one, love Guadamar beach. Was there last week with the kids. Heard it gets mega busy in the summer when the Spanish take their hols though.

Yeah it does near the main promenade of restaurants, but you can sometimes get parked near the municipal pool or the other end near the meridional hotel. Otherwise I head up to La Marina or Santa Pola.
