This is what I find funny about it. If he views Liverpool as a step down then fair enough..there's argument for that. But if you are on the bench and the three clubs you'd prefer to go to are going to put you on the bench too then how is that a step up? By all means if it's for more money then hey its his job and I'd do the same in my line of work. It's just sad to see a skillful player look for short term financial gain rather than develop as a player. But hey maybe he is confident in his own head that he could force his way into any of those teams. Either way nobody is forcing him to come to us and if he doesn't then that's good for both of us.
