Because you started by making a stupid point. And then told me I was wrong. And then agreed with me. And then made another stupid point. Of course a player in a lower league won't cost the same as a player in a better league, who even made that ****ing point? I didn't. Will player fees outside the PL be inflated? Of course they will, why wouldn't they be? Your initial comment I responded to suggested that MLS players values haven't inflated drastically because of PL money. On an objective scale of course not. If Juventus tries to buy Pirlo back, he's not going to cost more because of PL money. That's just silly. If Hull City tries to buy an MLS player in January, and then tries again now, there will be a different asking price because of the money we now have. That's just common sense.
My grand apologies for engaging in a discussion about transfer prices in a transfer thread on a discussion board. My folly.
No my apologies after all my original post was stupid and you shouldnt have been forced to consider trying to engage in with a post of that quality. I will attempt to only make posts that you find quality and worth engaging at the same time from here on out.
Eh? You're trying to be clever and smarmy but that post doesn't make any sense. Get back to me when you've done Economics 101.
Which is why we stopped and resolved things quite promptly in a PM. People are able to skip forward a page if they don't like it, instead of re-starting things as has now happened. Causing further pages of said arguments.
You mean when someone told me Lerner was asset stripping when he wasn't, and others have also come in to say the same thing? Just because I have discussions with some while the rest of you sleep doesn't make the discussion 'tedious' because it's between two posters, it merely means that the rest of you are asleep.
From today's rumour summaries - Middlesbrough and Burnley are both interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alex Pritchard.
