:emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0137-clappMy Daughter watched it in a British pub in New York.
She sat in her City shirt.
Lots of Real Madrid fans came in during the game, saw her in her city shirt and got behind the Tigers.

Thats always been my experience. You show up in a city shirt and people cheer for us. I have had bartenders give me free drinks when we play clubs they dont like. I had Arsenal fans buy my drinks after we beat them in 2008 I think it was, I was the only city fan in an entire Arsenal bar. Everyone has always been cool about it.

Good spot Stanmore, a Grimsby supporting neighbour gave me a heads-up on it when we went to the play offs in '08, we've used it every time since.

Great day for me. Predicted promotion many months ago but did get the game score wrong with the goal margin right! Also made up for missing the 2008 Wembley game.
Stayed in central London with Aussie friends and leave today for a couple of days in Dubai with Hull relations before returning to Aus.

If they were real Madrid fans, they would have been at the game.

Celebrated Satdee with a crowd, so did the village last night mit Frau. Karaoke on in pub, great crowd of regulars plus one Sheffield Wednesday fan called, Alex. Word got round and the inevitable happened; a glass of red was plonked on my table and the battle of Swing commenced. Little Ole Wine Drinker had him reeling, That's Life floored him. Great guy, it made a fine night, finished an excellent couple of days; he realised he's a Championship Chanter. <whistle>

Snodgrass had three or four Sheffield players close to him and he drew the one nearest to Diame before passing to him.
It was weird after the match. After City got their presentation the Sheffield fans left and the City fans were still in our end yet the fans on Owlstalk were saying that our fans left with them and our fans were miserable.
I watched the game yesterday and this morning and the players were on the pitch and the City fans were in the ground and they went to a few adverts and when they came back the pitch and stands were empty.
I hope they offer Huddlestone a new contract - he's been playing more positively recently. It helps that our full backs are more attacking though. I think they haven't offered him a contract earlier because he'd want too much for what a Championship club could afford.
Elm and Eldin are the other two I'd want to be offered contracts.
A couple of strikers, a few better players and a few squad players are all we can expect/need.

I guess spending the weekend getting pissed on the Embankment with City and later Barnsley fans had to end eventually.

Fantastic stuff City. Diame, ****ing ace. Absolutely smashed it, completely deserved to win.

You probably think you are now. You're not. Tomorrow will suck.

Who was it on here who had a bet on Sheffield winning because he always loses?

Might be idea for him to have a bet on us being relegated next season.

Owlstalk is still the funniest thing i've read in a long while.

Even after losing, they still act the most arrogant ****ing ******s to grace this planet.

There were a couple of times on the commentary after the game where they're saying how great it was that all the Wednesday fans had stayed behind, and how they'd never seen anything like it, almost at the same time as the empty Wednesday end was in shot. <doh>

They must have missed our FA Cup final, were there were possibly more City than Arse left in the ground just before the presentation.
