I see barca may bid 25mil for stones.

Hmmm that went well then tobes.

:bandit:

HUGE drop in value and everton nowhere in league.

Then there's the everton are ringing round to see if any of pelligrini's former clubs ever heard of him.. checking references.... was he punctual....

Well he was more punctual than van Gaal I suppose.....

I see you lot are in competition with Leicester for your targets now, what do you think will win CL or history?

Premier League champions Leicester, along with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, are interested in signing Arsenal and England midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, 22. (Sunday Express
Well which club do you think is more likely to be in the CL more regularly over the next 5 years?

Leicester are still a gamble.

Esp if they lose their manager.

Ranieri I don't think has been given enough credit for what he had done for that team.

A decent club in Europe poach him why would he stay?

Leicester have billionaire owners, they're here to stay. They've still got a lot of work to do but they'll be the next Chelsea / Man City

?? Is that will or won't be?

I think it's hard to call because e have a few clubs challenging for the top four now; Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, Leicester and possibly Everton (takeover)9₩

I can see Leicester becoming a really strong outfit over the next couple of seasons. Depends on their ambition really.

I honestly think they've no more chance than anyone and less than clubs like spurs

That's just my view.

Totally agree.

As much as they may dislike this comment and disagree, even clubs like spurs would be first choice before them and that's not even bringing in us utd Chelsea city arsenal etc

It's simply the fact as I explained ad nausea to someone.... 8 into 4 does not go.

Simple as. So whatever anyone thinks the haves and have not seen are not for changing.

Yep,

As much ad the league is getting interesting cl as a newbie doesn't mean guaranteed to get a player.

Everton have the history to back if owners are serious, Leicester are relying on cl football to counter that.

Sadly I think all they will attract is mercaneries, we know that better than most with our history lol

There was a time not too long ago you could have said that about Man City. Difference is they didn't have a recent PL title win as encouragement.

But they built their squad on mercanrries. Think Leicester will do that?

Could be expensive if doesn't work out.

I think they'll take their time and build properly but they have the money to compete for top four.

Yeah... but there's billionaire and there's billionaire who can waste a billion and shrug.

City have built huge facilities that would make zero sense anywhere else. They've an u21 stadium that a league 1 side would love

Like..... 8 into 4 doesn't mean the 4 can never change but city displaced us. Chelsea displaced newkie.

Arsenal and Utd have been the consistent members in the past.. are we really saying they will be replaced permanently in a top 4 by Leicester or even spurs never mind us or west ham.

The reality is 8 into 4 means there's a fall out. The scavengers pick your bones... you can't attract the "stars"

Nope... they can take time and build and be stoke or Southampton but the reality is 50mil signings and 250k plus wages are possible for city chelsea arsenal and Utd.

They are not really possible anywhere else despite the increased revenues.

The real issue is once players get it they don't seem to think they owe their living to anyone. Too many **** head like sterling get it and switch off.

This just made me lol

The RS have qualified for the CL once in 6 seasons and have just finished 8th

But in the world of the Kopite they're more likely than the current PL champions to be CL regulars.

Outstanding <laugh>

The delusion is high today my friend. Leicester are just another Stoke or Saints despite just winning the league, something we've been trying to do for 26 years!

To write them off when discussing top four challenges is just arrogant and disrespectful imo

It's also plain dumb

Teams develop and grow by winning things, as it breeds belief. Leicester won the league this season by being the best team over 38 games, the idea that they're just going to disappear next season is driven by the Sky era belief that there's an 'order' to the league, that is driven by cash

Deffo bookmark this.

Highly disrespectful to tones new best friend's in Southampton who've done pretty damned well... also disrespectful to Stoke who did better and better and signed a few rejects about the place and did OK this year.

Leicester have what that you think is going to sustain this over even medium term?

Even Everton have a billionaire owner which you seem to equate to meaning top 4.

Leicester have Kanye to keep hold of in face of a small buy out clause... they've two aging cbs, they've two really good players in mahrez and vardy but after that? They exploited a system and those players brilliantly but I ain't rating them top 4 next year.

As of today I'd put several clubs not including us ahead of them. Utd, city (before anyone's bought) arsenal and spurs. ... I'd even put saints and West ham in front of them.

If mahrez goes.... well....

Which Leicester happen to have an abundance of too <laugh>
